I especially like the interior camera lens is wide angle enough to record any person or Police officer that is at either the driver or front passenger window. I have the Garmin 57 & will move it from the windshield to the rear window. I especially like the Garmin Magnetic Mounting system instead of a suction cup mounting system so prevalent with other manufacturers dashcams. I've been considering the Viofo 229 Pro, however, after watching your video, I'll likely stay with Garmin. I have a Garmin 62ST handheld GPS when hiking/geocaching & a Nuvi 2597 for my car when driving - everything just works - right out of the box. And if I have a question/problem, I KNOW I can call & speak to a real live Tech Support person. You can't do that with VanTru or Viofo dashcams. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada.

When you tell it to save video does it continue recording after? Also don't have GPS thing but car has one built into where you would press bluetooth or if you went to play radio it would say who's playing to best of its ability etc is this an issue? If not using the parking recording does it still function properly like on the tandem how does it know when to start recording right before an accident? One last thing wifi do you have to make a hotspot or something for it to have wifi or just connects via bluetooth so phone with app an bluetooth or both?
And no Manuel or information on operating instructions . I’m disgusted with manufacturers expecting customers to know every function on a device with no instructions .

Do you know how many minutes of recording you get with the 16g card? Garmin website was no help.
