Didn't care that Ash paused... maybe if it wasn't my 500th time hearing this one I woulda cared. So far as PC culture and spazzing, we used to use it similar to how people say "wilding out", I know Brits are generally considered polite, but man it's gone too far. Everyone is looking for a reason to be offended... I don't even need to mention the word ret@rd though I have a thought on that one that I never heard anyone else say. Look at the CONDITION of being an unhealthy weight... doctors used to say fat, someone got offended... big-boned became offensive... obese tried to be a legit medical term, yet now it offends. Can't please all of the people all of the time. So far as EMINEM, he came out of the gate not giving a single fack, sticks and stones. Congress and GLAAD tried to cancel him and failed, Gen Z hasn't got a chance and I'll say why even though it's "offensive"... most of Gen Z are SOFT, a mean glare and they'll scatter.
George Carlin has some great skits on how we change words to be more appealing and less human, the one I'm thinking of has to do with shellshock, battle fatigue, PTSD.
