This was useful. May I ask if there is a way to provide ChatGPT selected articles (20 to 30 published in the last 12 months) and ask ChatGPT to limit its replies and findings to those while answering queation and/ or writing a whole research paper.
I wrote some custom instructions for ChatGPT and even before starting I ask "Please confirm your understanding of the custom instructions I have enacted along with the information listed above and please provide me with 1 fictional sample to ensure we are prepared to start." Then for the entire 7-8 hours of the Chat with GPT I'm given info I didn't asked for. I'm repeatedly apologized to and everything I ask is done in the opposite direction! How do I correct this?
Thats probably because uour chats are so long,try to be more concise and if one project or task with chat gpt is too long start a new chat, summarize the old one, and continue where you left off
The problem is ChatGPT's memory. I think the best solution is to bake the context into every request you make. Beyond that, if it forgets what has said, you need to remind it in your prompts too.

Sure, but for 13 cents each in an organized and searchable format 🤷 I don't know about you, but it would take me quite a bit of time to come up with all of these even using chatgpt, and they likely wouldn't be easily searchable when I got done with them😄

You dont need custom instructions for that, just use code interpreter and tell it to transcribe, it should do the rest
