Although genius is ascribed mainly to intellects and artists, it is no less an attribute of the Master Teacher. Seymour Bernstein is the living embodiment of the musician-educator, and Ethan Hawke's documentary about him reveals the actor-writer-director's own brilliance. In Seymour: An Introduction, he chronicles the modest New York City pianist, composer and teacher about whom Todd McCarthy wrote in The Hollywood Reporter, "If there were a pill that could provide one with the subject's wisdom, insight and intellectual clarity on a regular basis, I would take it and recommend it to everyone."
