My absolute favourite thing to do when it’s rainy weather is cuddling up on the couch or in bed and wrap up in cozy blankets and open the window so I can hear the rain🥰
I’m hooked on your videos… after watching the tictok hacks when you spoke about the strawberries not lasting in your house and then you said “because my kids are animals” I knew at that moment we could be friends! Kids aren’t angels all the time, life isn’t always super great, kids make messes (sometime we don’t know what the colors on our blankets came from😱), and you don’t hide any of that or make others feel bad about being frustrated or tired, etc… LOVE ALL OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Summer has flown by! We go back to school in three weeks. I had to do the school supply haul, and check uniforms, and I still need to buy their literature books…Rainy days are hard for cleaning for me…kids in the house and trying to clean at the same time is like wiping while you’re pooping. But I love cleaning most of the time. We don’t get much rain in Texas. It’s dry as Death Valley here. Send some rain our way! My garden is dead. I surrendered. Shopping is always fun. I enjoy shopping for anything we need around the house. I am addicted to the spice aisle, the cleaning supply aisle and home decor areas…especially house plants, wax melters and fun wall decor having to do with coffee. 🧐
I love to clean in rainy weather. Our house smelled of pine sol and we could hear the dryer going and smell the laundry products, on a rainy day. When I was a child…
Put a scaled down amount of your regular cocktail of cleaning solution into an empty spray bottle. Spritz your trouble spots and even let them dwell for a few minutes if you're feeling frisky. In the bucket use the same amount of hot water you would normally have, with a splash of the cleaning solution to loosen the grime from the mop head each time you wring the dirty mop into the bucket. The bottle and the mop are the stars of the show. The bucket is supporting stage crew. Still important, but not quite center stage on opening night.
I do the same thing with my Ocedar and I absolutely love it especially with a bad back I used to use the old-fashioned cotton mop because it didn't leave any fibers but I had to ring it out by hand. It's also hard on your arthritis! Yeah I'm 67 years old!
Rubbing alcohol might get the yellow door stain off. But be careful becuase it also removes paint of left on. So use it then immediately clean with water. :). Hope it helps. It’s always worked for me
I don’t have enough cabinets for all my kitchen stuff (I have an obsession with kitchen gadgets🤦🏼♀️). I have racks for my pots and their lids, organization bins wherever I can use them to help maximize space. I have a shelf and drawers in my garage for extra space.
OH also - those blades on the glass door - I have that same setup (had). My kids broke them like the first few months in the house. I just replaced it with a large curtain and we use that instead. We got a black out curtain and it works so well to keep the room nice and cool at night.
I’ve thought about that but I love having the natural lighting during the day. I did replace the ones in oldest son’s room with a blackout curtain though and he loves it.
I’ve tried it. It works BUT because you have a clean bucket and then ring it out into the O’Cedar before mopping each time, you’re still dipping a dirty mop into the clean solution and you go through solution crazy fast.
@@RachPlusFive I have the more expensive version with two compartments. It’s a love hate relationship. Our floors get dirty for real because we own large parrots, but I do have to refill a lot. My comfort is that I am not so much mopping with what really is filthy water.🤷🏻♀️
Did I miss where the pen came out of the carpet and your blankets stains? I saw them go in the washer bit didn’t see results. I so want to see how that folex worked on that pen mark!
@@RachPlusFive I absolutely know it works! I saw you do the expo marker one and ran and got it that day. Now I am steam cleaning my whole nail spa room and it is amazing! That is why I am so interested in seeing what else you have used it for! WWRD!! (Jk!) I like to see how colorfast it is in things. Thank you for all the intense explanations you give. I know it’s hard work! Take time to let things be dirty and enjoy those kids!!
I tried that stainless steel cleaner on my fridge and it was absolute trash! i usually just use windex now. The baking soda thing is def. too much work for me.
I use Kaboom and a scrub brush. Once I have the shower walls clean, I use a scrub brush filled with half Dawn and half white vinegar while I’m showering to clean the walls and doors to keep it clean.

That’s one of my favorite way to spend a rainy day too 😊❤️

I already have the grey bucket!!! I'm doing this!! I love the O Cedar mop and bucket so much

I like this… going to try this. 😊
I love your videos so much! They’re so relatable and real life!!!!
Thank you!!! 😊❤️
Everyone makes fun of me because I love to clean when it's storming outside! Then you can enjoy the storm in a nice clean house ❤️
I won’t make fun of you for that. 😊
What's wrong with that

I have the same blinds & I need to order the repair kit . I didn’t know they existed . Thanks !
I didn’t either but Amazon for the win on this one. 😊
I think the spin mop hack is genius !! Hope I can find the bucket you mentioned at Wallmart for two dollars .
Thanks. It’s one of their everyday items so you should be able and, if not, dollar tree has buckets too. 😊
Hi Rachel made my way from Facebook. I really enjoy cleaning videos. I have to subscribe. Can’t wait to see more.
Thank you so much! And welcome! 😊❤️

I will definitely try that! Thank you. 😊
I love the steam shot! ❤️
Do you ever take a break from cleaning! Love your videos. I can relate to you more than most of the people I watch. God bless
Oh, absolutely haha. My house is not cleaned daily. Thank you for watching! I started my channel because I couldn’t find someone I could relate to. 😊
Mama: “She back there” *points
Daughter looks up in adolescence

I hollered at “tiny Picasso “
Lâu lắm rồi mới được nghe lại bài này. Hay lắm ạ 😘
Epidemic sound has the BEST music, I use them too!! Happy Friday! ❤️
Yes they do! Happy Friday!
Do you have any tips for organizing your kitchen? I've been trying to figure out how to organize mine since I moved and got a lot more stuff.
I don’t have enough cabinets for all my kitchen stuff (I have an obsession with kitchen gadgets🤦🏼♀️). I have racks for my pots and their lids, organization bins wherever I can use them to help maximize space. I have a shelf and drawers in my garage for extra space.

Someone said you can do that Ocedar trick with a dollar store trashcan (small one, of course).
I’ve tried it. It works BUT because you have a clean bucket and then ring it out into the O’Cedar before mopping each time, you’re still dipping a dirty mop into the clean solution and you go through solution crazy fast.

Thank u thank u thank u😘👍🥰♥️
When my kids were little, I kept markers, pens, pencils and crayons way up high. I would take them down and let them use them only with supervision.
I have them locked away but my daughter got very good at hiding one or two.
Did I miss where the pen came out of the carpet and your blankets stains? I saw them go in the washer bit didn’t see results. I so want to see how that folex worked on that pen mark!
Oh no. I forgot to film that part. 🤦🏼♀️ It definitely works though. I’m having to show that in an upcoming video.

@@RachPlusFive I will look for that!

It took me a couple times using the stainless steel cleaner before I liked the results. It’s all in the buffing.
I didn't see you doing it, but you have got to scrub underneath that rub ber part on your garbage disposal. It will gross you out!
I do. It’s hard to get under mine and it doesn’t come out like some I’ve seen but I make sure to do that regularly because of how nasty it can get. 😊
I have shower walls like yours my tub is nasty any ideas

You are putting your dirty mop into clean water anyway. So I don't feel it works. The new o cedar mop is alot smaller also.
New by here , here supporting
Thank you!! And welcome! 😊
Dump that dirty floor water into the toilet. You really don't to have floor dirt in the sink. Yuck.😝
The water was poured down the toilet. I was washing out the bucket before refilling it. 😊
