If only he would have agreed to be involved with the film production to make sure nobody tarnished his artwork with modern day wokeism, our lives would have been complete with a faithful Calvin and Hobbes movie adaptation. Cause several high ranking directors approached him with a movie deal, and he turned them down. If I created such a thing, I would want it to live on forever through modern day alternatives. Films, shows, video games and all that. A Calvin and Hobbes video game would have been amazing, especially when I was a kid. I couldn't get enough of the comics.
