For me, it was the villains, we (mostly) felt bad for every single one, because they were products of their environment, it wasn't them, and Tanjiro saw that, even in battles where he was close to death( so almost every battle🤣) he showed them kindness, and let em pass in peace, that's why I love this anime

It's astonishingly good... not just the show itself but this amv blew me away.
