thanks for the great video. I wonder if you could show how different Tradingview displays Bid/Ask or Delta column in their new Orderflow Suites compared to a data feed with Tick data. I made those comparisons and found TV's new Footprint chart not adequate for deep analysis. Cumulative Volume Delta can does work better in TV when set to the 1sec Timeframe. If you do more Tradingview videos on Orderflow please incorporate this since many of your viewers might not be aware of the discrepancy due to the way data is delivered from TV. thanks again for your great contributions
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader thats great to hear. I really like your consise style. I was very excited when Tradingview presented Orderflow tools but side by side they were perfect at overall volume but not its precise distribution especially within the wicks at high volume reversals. I did these comparisons on Motivewave via CQG and again look forward to your findings on Sierra Charts. again thank you
Hey mate, would you be able to do a video on configuring this exact footprint? Keen to organise a Volxdelta FP. don’t even know where to start. Fantastic video mate!
I go into more detail and other confluence factors in my Orderflow course. But I want to also bring great free teachings to my RUclips community as well.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader I see, thanks! Is there a way to figure out what is considered high volume on a footprint for any market? or is it just experience?
It varies, you gotta watch each instrument and just see what an average volume range is and what would be considered high for the timeframe you are looking at. It will stand out from the rest.
Not so many traders use Sierra these days, because of its cost. How about similar video on Trading View, since the foorprint has improved ? Nevertheless, great video, as always
Sierra Chart is very affordable. You pay $46/month for an advanced 11 package and you get a ton of indicators, orderflow and volume profile tools and customization. TradingView charges $60/month for the Premium subscription to be able to use the TPO and Footprint indicators and they are nowhere near as good as SC. But I’ll look to make some future videos with TradingView too.
It might also be important to point out that TV does not display tick data . I compared tick bid /ask columns with that of tradingview and they are not displayed the same way especially on high volume . It would be great if you could shed some light into the validity of tradingview new order flow tools
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader Thanks a lot for your prompt response. Trading View is more intuitive and I believe most traders that find your videos useful also use TV. Sierra maybe is better and more thorough but its interface is rather repulsive. I am just saying that not many traders use Sierra and may find your video relevant to their every day trading.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader I do use ATAS and i love it! Kinda same price and it has heatmap, smart doms and more tools that make orderflow more visual. What do you think about ATAS? Thanks for your videos always. Cheers from Australia.
Great channel sir! Is there a possibility that you could show us how is your footprint chart settings done, like in this video. I checked the previous videos, but the settings is different. Thank you!

If you would copy this table of contents to the video's description area we could see the chapters in the video progress bar as well.
Excellent! The visual side by side comparisons finally helped me to understand the footprint to candle relation and the absorption examples were great
You did not shows on the settings how to set up the vol x delta candles can can you show us please
You are super and your content is worth the money you charge for the courses.
This was amazingly helpful and i would really appreciate it if you made more videos on the new tradingview footprint candle sticks
Man, God damn awesome stuff you are teaching here! Thank u very much for ur effort!
Glad you enjoyed it
This is really nice thank you! Could you also do a tutorial when the footprint chart is being used with the bid and ask? that would be very helpful!
I'll keep it in mind for the future.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader thank you for this video, did you create the request video for footprint; to use in bid & ask?

Yeah I know TradingView uses CQG on their data.

How many times does the market need to test and reject off of the high volume area before you stop using that zone in the footprints?
Until it has a solid close through it

I trade MYM but chart YM for footprint. Should i use micros for footprint aswell? What are the differences? which one would be more accurate?
I would track all Orderflow using the mini contract. Since they are the main ones used by institutional and larger players.
@@PriceActionVolumeTrader Yeah nice makes sense ty bro

Not that exact one but similar one that just need small adjustments like the highlights which is simple.
Awesome video! Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Fascinating. Thanks a lot.
Grat video,thanks!!
Great video
Love your channel for Sierra chart content. Might want to get a new mic or at least edit audio track so it's not clipping. Sounds a bit harsh at times
Yeah this one I think I had it too close to my mouth for some reason.
So how does one view limit orders?
With a DOM

Not sure on this. Ups have to reach out to specific brokers and inquire about it.
