Edisher and Gigi Garakanidze children's folklore-ethnographic studio Amer-Imeri was founded in 1991 by Edisher Garakanidze, ethnomusicologist and director of Ensemble Mtiebi and his wife Nino Baghaturia a linguist. Amer-Imeri is the youth group of Mtiebi.
