This is just great and thank you so much for posting...Especially love the live versions of "Skippin' work today" and "Just my imagination", they really demonstrate the sweetness of Eddie's voice...The man could really deliver a ballad...
EDDIE was one of the signature voices of the greatest 5 member singing group to ever do it!! every falsetto/ 1st tenor wanted to emulate his sound..he was the template for all that followed but none could ever match or even come close~! i'm a true blue Eddie fan from the 1ST album MEET the TEMPTATIONS ! but honestly i prefer Eddie being a member of the Tempts. His solo stint , great songs ! as far as a solo artist with stage presence ..Eddie was no Ruffin..or a MJ ! as far as a performer..the voice unmistakable !! to me! hit fit the group concept..with the 5 tempts stepping together, the moves so smooth...Eddie was like silk~~ i wish he had stayed . the one song that Eddie sang that always blows me away! TELL HER LOVE HAS FELT THE NEED! .........WOW!!
You know, I actually do have the video for this concert but it kept getting blocked in the US. I would have to do some editing so it could bypass the copyright... it shouldn't intrude too much if people dont mind it

@@anthonynero1078 What do you mean? In 1975, Eddie was still young. He definitely could've sang You're My Everything. But, that song requires 2 leads. Who was going to sing David's note? The two ladies singing backup couldn't do David.
@@Ms.L2803 David's parts were small he mos Def could've performed without that part, he used to performed "I'm going to make you love me" without the supremes. Sadly I can hear even in this recording the beginning of Eddie's voice deterioration due to constant chain smoking.
@@Ms.L2803 By know Eddie had lost a lot of his range,that's why he chose to sing Just my imagination which he sang in his lowest tenor range while "YOU'RE MY EVERYTHING IS SUNG IN A HIGH FALSETTO
