That's fantastic ladies! I love love love barn owls! - I've just come home from a holiday on the Norfolk Broads and was lucky enough to see three barn owls, along with a whole host of other rare wildlife; including an osprey flying over, numerous kingfishers, a bitten flying past our boat and, very rare swallow tail butterfly's! Also very rare, or more unexpected was the sighting of a juvenile white tale see eagle flying over. Excellent film of your barn owl.....they are my absolute favourite ☺️👍👌❤️
I absolutely love your videos. Barn Owls are absolutely beautiful. I’d love to come a visit to see these beautiful. You girls are brilliant at what you do.
I got a triangle owl box made in 2020 all I got in was crows, then nothing , about 2 weeks ago I seen a barn owl in a tree, I looked at the owl box and another one, I have a rough grazing field they are now flying round it,,,, I have now in my field / orchard hairs, owls, pheasants, grass snake, monkjacks calling in, also my cats, I live in a static caravan in the middle of it all, Wonderfull,,
I've just spent the past 15 minutes watching a beautiful Barn Owl being hounded by two boisterous seagulls. I was walking my dogs when I spotted the owl and simply stopped to watch him fly majestically. His wingspan was tremendous and I suppose that's what made me stop and watch. Initially he was perhaps hunting as he was swooping and diving - out of my vision - he went over a small, slow flowing burn and down a bank. Within moments, he was back once more but then the blasted seagulls came into my and his vision. He never made a cheap, he remained totally silent as he tried to escape those naughty lads! Swooping up and down, flying off to the left and then to the right. I honestly began to fear for his life as I thought he was tiring out. This display went on and on and on! Eventually he decided to come down in the rough grassland and the seagulls flew off. He gave it a good couple of minutes then decided once more to head for the skies. During all of this spectacle, my dogs found a rabbit warren to stick their noses into. I only wished to share this with you as this was my first time in at least a decade that I've seen a Barn Owl. Today is Christmas Eve so I'm classing this as an early Christmas gift - perfection!
Great video keep up the great work. Very informative, I’m currently looking at a property that has a resident barn own and would love to help it thrive if I purchase the property 😁
Bailey Blackwell and Sophie Turner we are just plodding away, keeping the centre looking good and birds happy. Time will soon pass and we will love seeing everyone again. Xx
Can you kindly supply me with info regarding your owl boxes..? We have a number of Tawny owls in the village and would love to help them out, managed to get one on camera....
Scouring RUclips for footage of owls I can use in a video I am making (with permission of course) and sadly yours doesn't fit the bill. However, fantastic video, you're a great presenter! Very much enjoyed it :)
Luca Smith no not any more. Lack of time is the main reason and I just got to a stage in life where I didn’t need to hunt animals any more, not against it, just don’t personally enjoy it. Happy to dispatch animals though If the hawks self hunt during sessions though.

Thanks, what an informative video. Today I saw 7 red kites, I have never seen one where I live (which is south east Devon) I was wondering if red kites eat live mice in the wild. Thanks.
Luca Smith they tend to scavenge more than hunt, their small feet and lack of power means if they do hunt it tends to be small mammals ground nesting bird chicks and insects. But mostly they prefer stuff that’s already dead such as road kill and following the combines to pick up chopped up slugs and mice!
Luca Smith similar but their attack style is different which means the buzzard can take slightly bigger prey than the kite if it wants too, but unfortunately they are also equal in laziness!! Worms for dinner it is then!!!
I can't stand watching birds with chains at their legs. he's moving forth and back for getting food. this is not a relationship this is inducing a mechanical conditioning. beautiful creature anyway
I love Barn owls, used to see them in Manchester as a kid they lived in the old industrial buildings :)
❤❤❤love this! We have a whole family of barn owls in the tree next door. I feel so lucky to see them everyday! Thank you and Bailey ❤

Hello @Feathers and Fur. I was wondering if you do any hunting with your birds?
Luca Smith no not any more. Lack of time is the main reason and I just got to a stage in life where I didn’t need to hunt animals any more, not against it, just don’t personally enjoy it. Happy to dispatch animals though If the hawks self hunt during sessions though.

Feathers and Fur Falconry Centre, sorry for all the questions but are their feet similar to a common buzzard in size?
Luca Smith similar but their attack style is different which means the buzzard can take slightly bigger prey than the kite if it wants too, but unfortunately they are also equal in laziness!! Worms for dinner it is then!!!
Would love to pay a visit, but not for the owl 😍
