Wow I remember getting that 2007 droid battle pack back in the day and still have those super battle droids too. Yes, they aged like milk compared to literally everything else I have from that era. You make a lot of good points but they didn’t actually recycle kashyyyk droids. They just mislabeled them in previous sets. To be fair, they make sense for Kashyyyk given their coloration, but that actual design is used for certain specialty B1s seen in the clone wars. They’re normally either leading other droids or operating machinery, such as the AAT, making their use in the aat set very appropriate. I like the aat, as I think it looks great for the scale, though will admit it’s a little Chibi, and I don’t think any changes in the molds for standard battle droids would be worth losing visual symmetry with the many that have come before which fans have amassed. I do however think we definitely need more sets from the separatists, because otherwise what are my clones supposed to be fighting?
#droidbattlepack This was such a great video, Daley! I am completely with your argument. What's the use of having clone battle packs and vehicles if there's nothing for them to absolutely destroy? I do believe the pinnacle of droid sets was the 2008 MTT, but since then there has been nothing as impressive. I'd like to see a droid battle pack with different droid types, such as a crab droid or even a Super Tactical Droid leading a squad of B-2s with the RPG arms. I just think the droid battle pack should not have a majority of B-1s. Thanks for the great video! Keep it up!!
#droidbattlepack I think there are a TON of carriers and frankly not enough tanks and such, let alone vehicles that can handle rough terrain, unlike the clones vehicles. I know it sounds insane, but maybe they could add the LM-432 crab droid. It seems unlikely, but it's such an interesting looking vehicle with so much potential. I really hope they add anything new soon, because ironically I had just been looking for a clone vehicle and found no droid vehicles mixed in while searching amazon. I really hope they add something, anything new for the droids to ride.
This is another serious problem with LEGO Star Wars. For the past 3 years, we have gotten Original Trilogy, Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, and some Prequel Trilogy sets, and those Prequel sets were Attack of the Clones, and Revenge of the Sith, but no Phantom Menace. What I am saying is.… LEGO NEEDS TO BRING THE PHANTOM MENACE!! Bro, bro, we haven’t gotten a real Phantom Menace LEGO set since fricking 2019, 4 years ago. In fact, the last time we got a Phantom Menace wave was in 2015, 8 years ago. In 2017, we got another Phantom Menace LEGO set based off one the best scenes in the whole movie, the Duel on Naboo LEGO set, which was good. And in 2019, we got another Phantom Menace LEGO set for the 20th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars, and that was Anakin’s Podracer. It came with only 2 minifigures, and only 2, which was Anakin and Padmé, then we got 2 mirco-fighters based from the movie. LEGO has got to get their head back in the game, if they don’t know how to make a complete saga, then they don’t deserve to make Star Wars sets. The Phantom Menace set aside, how about Attack of the Clones? Sure we got Obi Wan’s Jedi Starfighter, and the clone starter pack, those sets were mid. There’s nothing too much to say about the movie, it kinda sucked ass, nothing good happened until the battle of Geonosis, and we need sets based off of that scene. The last time we got a wave the battle of Geonosis, was in 2013, 10 fricking years ago. We need the Geonosian Arena, it needs to include Obi Wan, Anakin, Padmé, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, Young Boba Fett, Mace Windu Ki-Adi-Mudi, Luminara Unduli, some red battle droids, some super battle droids, and some Geonosians. We also need a Geonosian Starfighter that comes with some clone troopers, some Geonosians, Poggle the Lessor, and Nute Gunray. We also need Dooku’s Hideout, that comes with Obi Wan, Anakin, Count Dooku, Master Yoda, and the droid pilot, that make a great Geonosis collection. Revenge of the Sith is perfectly fine, they made a lot in 2020, I hope they continue. The Original Trilogy is also good with the new Yavin 4 Base. Although one thing that LEGO has got to work on, is lay low on the Clone Wars. Yeah, the series is pretty awesome, but Jesus Christ, LEGO bring back The Phantom Menace. Damn!
#droidbattlepack I like the old open-topped transports, although they are clearly dedicated towards just carrying troops into battle and not really adding much to combat itself A dwarf spiderdroid or a crabdroid would be a nice addition, plus as many good'ol B1s as they can give us preferably with sculpted blasters and not the awful studshooters xd
2:13 This actually wasnt the last battle droid battle pack, they made an assasin droid battle pack and a droideka vs clones battlepack since then as well
Always a good day when Daley posts no matter what channel. #DROID BATTLE PACK. Would love a STAP speeder with 2 b1 battle droids and 2 b2 battle droids
#DroidBattlepack and personally for a droid battlepack I think having a stap chase down kind of set would be really interesting! Would bring back staps and for the droids themselves probably a few b1's and 2-3 b2's
#droidbattlepack my ideas including: Droid proton cannon with battle droids crews and two twi'lek hostages A squadron of B1s on STAPs A dwarf spider droid, two droidekas and super battle droids A group of the chameleon droids from 2d clone wars Several IG Lancer droids with swoop bikes A Crab droid with droid commandos and B1 Battle droids A vulture droid with several buzz droids That droid spider and its mites that were on Satine's yacht
I'd love to see a new super battle droid mold, that can have modifications for other type of b2 droids such as the flying ones we see on Ringo Vinda. What I'd want on a droid battle pack is 2 of those normal b2, one flying b2, 2 commando droids with new molded vibroswords, 1 crab droid and another minibuild #DroidBattlePack
#droidbattlepack the perfect droid battle pack would be a UCS MMT with b2 super battle droids and b1 battle droids so it isn’t just a great build but also a great army builder.
Never thought of it till you showed the UCS Gunship, but a UCS AAT would actually be sick. People have been talking about UCS prequel sets and an AAT would be a pretty unique design largely because it’s not a ship but a tank. Every UCS set is a ship or walker so it would be new. Give episode 1 some love and include it’s villains, super detailed Nute Gunray or Darth Maul minifigs (or a battle droid ig)
#DroidBattlePack #Droidsmatter #LegoStarWars #MoreDroids #DroidArmyBuilding #Droids #BattleDroids. I would want A droid pack with 8 B1 Battle Droids, 2 R5-Units, 3 Commando Droids, 2 Magna Guards, 1 Droideka, 2 Kashyyyk Droids, and 1 Probe Droid. It would come with a Hangar with sections for each droid.
If you watch the first episode of The Clone Wars, those Kashyyk droids are actually supposed to be tanker specialist droids. You can see all the commanders of the rest of the tanks that arent the commander's one are marked green like that. Only time ive seen green marked B1s that werent tankers was Battlefront 2, and even then ut was more tiger stripe than just dots like lego has.
Lego messing up with lego star wars armies' minifigures? That's unbelievable, never heard of it. Right, ATTE 75337? Right 501st clone troopers battle pack? RIGHT!?
Personally I think the most recent aat tank is decently accurate. the barrel is accurate from what I can tell if a little bit long, the turrets were fixed with the extra parts, and the gray should be replaced with tan.
Being honest, when I am trying to do massive battles and I just want to mess around, i have to do the Empire VS the Republic cause we don't get enough droids, or I do like 1/10 of my 501st or 212th vs my droids
Did we just ignore 7929 "The Battle of Naboo" which is actually just a battle droid carrier from 2011? I modified mine by taking out the weapon holders and fitting in more battle droids, so it carries 16, plus a crew of 2. Looks impressive with two of them side by side, especially backed by two of the 7662 MTTs. We do need more droid vehicles though. Particularly we need an AAT that doesn't look terrible. I also want a properly minifig scale droid starfighter 'vulture droid', despite the fact that Star Wars ships aren't meant to be named after Earth animals 'cause that's stupid. I mean, at minifig scale, you could make a battle pack of them! Three droid starfighters and a droid bomber? Would be cool!
The battle droids in the AAT are the only accurate usage of those battle droids by lego, they are AAT driver battle droids in cannon unfortunately Lego designers seem to think that green exclusively means jungle
I agree with this 100%. As a kid, I loved getting clone vehicles and minifigures, but, I always wanted droids too. In fact, I wanted MORE droids than clones because I always wanted to do mock scenes of the droids outnumbering the clones.
I think I would like something particular, like with 2 stap, 2 b2, 2 b1 and a b1 commander and maybe something like a small version of one of those brown command centers
2:13 I had that one... together with the old Republic Attack Gunship, the old star destroyer, the old multi transport, the hailfire droid, and a few fighters, and battlepacks and whatever not. guess what, my mom thought she could make a few children happy on a flee market. I will never... ever.. forgive her for that. edit after continue watching: also the battle droid carrier 2nd gen
#DroidBatllePack Yeah but to be fair we have more droid variants then just these two, variants that are arguably even more diversed then clones....the problem being they are just builds. So... problem with droids is that most of them just cant be done as minifigs, they have to be the entire build/set. And LEGO could really easly play around it, we could for example get mikrofighters where instead of some small ships, droids would get like spider or mini crab droid. And in droid batlle packs, instead of some speeders and other stuff clones usualy get, droids should be getting one build of somea bigger droid, like we've got in the utapau battle pack. Add to this some bigger sets like these old vulture droids or Tri-Fighters, and we would have pretty fine options for separatists army building :> The cool and really unique thing about droids is that they dont really need builds, like covers, and speeders, walkers, ships etc. becouse many of them ARE builds, they are just living ships, wakers, and many other things and its really a shame that lego isn't addresing that :c Guys just imagine having a battle pack with no accual minifigures (becouse lets face it, we dont need another 4 B1s), and instead having like 3 builds of spider droid, Droideka, and Idk, LR-57, that would be cool Edit: Also, idk if it counts but... #droidbattlepack I guess hah
I have Three sith troopers, a few jetpack and first order troopers from.the rise of skywalker, a first order trooper with a grey stripe, one with a black stripe, An endor imperial general, a first order general, 4 I believe clone troopers with blue body and leg stripes with orange on the helm (i believe called ashoka troopers or smth) and a few of those black driod stormtroopers I think from the mandolorian (the set that comes with luke, I think its called like "The Elevator Scene" or smth) and my brother has Old Stormtroopers, first order troopers, Old TIE fighter troopers, a black protocol droid from the imperial army, clone troopers with blue stripes, a few bounty hunters with speeders, Scout trooper with speeder, snow troopers with a speeder, and I think a rebel pilot with the snow speeder. I have Obi wan episode 2, Rey from force awakens, last jedi, and Rise of Skywalker, Luke from mandolorian, Ashoka, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, And an emperor, while he has Episode 3 Obi wan and Anakin.
I really wanna want a new MTT set since it's one of the coolest vehicles in star wars to me and the last one from 2014 is disappointing, the build has exposed areas in which you can see through it and it only literally carries like 6 droids compared to the 2007 one
if im not mistaken there was also a battle of naboo droid transport set as well that released in 2011ish, i remember cause as a kid my family took a plane trip and they bought this set for me so i wouldnt be a lil shit and annoy anyone while flying lol
#droidbattlepack this video def highlighted some problems in the manufaction of lego star wars, and I feel that since the clones are considered cooler and the "good guys" they recieve more attention. Im not complaining about that, I'd just like to see some more of the Seperatists. An idea for a droid battlepack would be one on Utapau with a crab droid, several b1s, and a super b
When i was a kid i had this geonosis battleback where its 2 droids, a commandee droid, a spider droid, and that hailfire class vehicle. I would go back into the lego hobby if they make a new hailfire vehicle set
I would love a droid battle pack to include Driodeka and magmaguad with some nice legion tanks from the battle of naboo to back them up. Maybe a new dropship.

Damn!
Lego hardly makes any AOTC sets
#droidbattlepack I like the old open-topped transports, although they are clearly dedicated towards just carrying troops into battle and not really adding much to combat itself
A dwarf spiderdroid or a crabdroid would be a nice addition, plus as many good'ol B1s as they can give us preferably with sculpted blasters and not the awful studshooters xd
2:13 This actually wasnt the last battle droid battle pack, they made an assasin droid battle pack and a droideka vs clones battlepack since then as well
We finally got a new clones vs droids battle pack, we are happy now.
Hi,
why the eye part of Rex phase 2 helmet is not the same as all other clone wars clones?
Always a good day when Daley posts no matter what channel. #DROID BATTLE PACK. Would love a STAP speeder with 2 b1 battle droids and 2 b2 battle droids
By the way, I have the 2008 MTT and it is one of my favorite sets. It has a little droid troop carrier in the back
#DroidBattlepack and personally for a droid battlepack I think having a stap chase down kind of set would be really interesting! Would bring back staps and for the droids themselves probably a few b1's and 2-3 b2's
#droidbattlepack my ideas including:
Droid proton cannon with battle droids crews and two twi'lek hostages
A squadron of B1s on STAPs
A dwarf spider droid, two droidekas and super battle droids
A group of the chameleon droids from 2d clone wars
Several IG Lancer droids with swoop bikes
A Crab droid with droid commandos and B1 Battle droids
A vulture droid with several buzz droids
That droid spider and its mites that were on Satine's yacht
I'd love to see a new super battle droid mold, that can have modifications for other type of b2 droids such as the flying ones we see on Ringo Vinda. What I'd want on a droid battle pack is 2 of those normal b2, one flying b2, 2 commando droids with new molded vibroswords, 1 crab droid and another minibuild #DroidBattlePack
where did you get all of those droids i am building an army as well
#droidbattlepack the perfect droid battle pack would be a UCS MMT with b2 super battle droids and b1 battle droids so it isn’t just a great build but also a great army builder.
i had the tan AAT but i put stickers on it and recycled the parts for terrible looking sand barricades on a tan baseplate when i was little
Never thought of it till you showed the UCS Gunship, but a UCS AAT would actually be sick.
Maybe UCS Lucrehulk? Or Invisibile Hand/Malevolence. I might buy those.
@Dustyjazz the MTT would also be sick
#DroidBattlePack #Droidsmatter #LegoStarWars #MoreDroids #DroidArmyBuilding #Droids #BattleDroids. I would want A droid pack with 8 B1 Battle Droids, 2 R5-Units, 3 Commando Droids, 2 Magna Guards, 1 Droideka, 2 Kashyyyk Droids, and 1 Probe Droid. It would come with a Hangar with sections for each droid.
#droidbattlepack I would love to see a new troop carrier with staff speeders to protect it
If you watch the first episode of The Clone Wars, those Kashyyk droids are actually supposed to be tanker specialist droids. You can see all the commanders of the rest of the tanks that arent the commander's one are marked green like that. Only time ive seen green marked B1s that werent tankers was Battlefront 2, and even then ut was more tiger stripe than just dots like lego has.
Ayyyyyy 100k!!!!
Lego messing up with lego star wars armies' minifigures?
That's unbelievable, never heard of it. Right, ATTE 75337?
Right 501st clone troopers battle pack? RIGHT!?
#droidbattlepack DROID CARRIERS FOR SURE
Personally I think the most recent aat tank is decently accurate. the barrel is accurate from what I can tell if a little bit long, the turrets were fixed with the extra parts, and the gray should be replaced with tan.
Already outdated. There is a droid pack right now lol
Being honest, when I am trying to do massive battles and I just want to mess around, i have to do the Empire VS the Republic cause we don't get enough droids, or I do like 1/10 of my 501st or 212th vs my droids
#wewantadroidbattlepack
The droid battlepack from 2007 was my first lego set ever, I can't even believe this was also the last I got. What the fuck.
I have the 2007 battle droid pack. 1 of my b1 and one of b2 is broken 😢😢
What are the trooper battle pack in the box that there squished the one with the orange troops what is callled😢😢😢😢😢
Loved the video, but you missed a droid troop carrier, it’s a Naboo one that only has 8battle droids plus two drivers.
Here in 2024, 2 droid battle packs now.
where do you get the droids
The battle droids in the AAT are the only accurate usage of those battle droids by lego, they are AAT driver battle droids in cannon unfortunately Lego designers seem to think that green exclusively means jungle
Dailey, about the AAT, if you rewatch the first episode of the clone wars you will see that those are tank droids not kayshyyk droids
Lego: These aren’t the Lego sets your looking for.
Consumers: These aren’t the Lego sets we’re looking for.
For 2000 the shaping of the MTT is quite impressive. Shape takes some ingenuity since more angled parts mostly didnt exist til 2002
I think a good combo would be a j1 canon and 2 single troop ariel platforms, it can include 2 pilots for the stap, 1 commander and 2 regular b1s
2:13 I had that one...
together with the old Republic Attack Gunship, the old star destroyer, the old multi transport, the hailfire droid, and a few fighters, and battlepacks and whatever not.
guess what, my mom thought she could make a few children happy on a flee market.
I will never... ever.. forgive her for that.
edit after continue watching:
also the battle droid carrier 2nd gen
Is your AATs cannon on backwards?
Honestly the slider thing you have is better for droid hands because the hanging will ruin hands over time
I still have that mtt carrier with the comic book in the instruction kit. So many good fuckin memories
#DroidBatllePack
Yeah but to be fair we have more droid variants then just these two, variants that are arguably even more diversed then clones....the problem being they are just builds.
So... problem with droids is that most of them just cant be done as minifigs, they have to be the entire build/set. Add to this some bigger sets like these old vulture droids or Tri-Fighters, and we would have pretty fine options for separatists army building :>
The cool and really unique thing about droids is that they dont really need builds, like covers, and speeders, walkers, ships etc. becouse many of them ARE builds, they are just living ships, wakers, and many other things and its really a shame that lego isn't addresing that :c
Guys just imagine having a battle pack with no accual minifigures (becouse lets face it, we dont need another 4 B1s), and instead having like 3 builds of spider droid, Droideka, and Idk, LR-57, that would be cool
Edit: Also, idk if it counts but...
WOW I JUST REALIZED HOW MUCH I TYPED
I really wanna want a new MTT set since it's one of the coolest vehicles in star wars to me and the last one from 2014 is disappointing, the build has exposed areas in which you can see through it and it only literally carries like 6 droids compared to the 2007 one
where u buy those 1,000 droids?
if im not mistaken there was also a battle of naboo droid transport set as well that released in 2011ish, i remember cause as a kid my family took a plane trip and they bought this set for me so i wouldnt be a lil shit and annoy anyone while flying lol
I want to see more security droids in sets and super battle droids along with more stap builds idk why I like the staps alot
Where did you get them from?
When will they make a republic commando set with b2 battle droids, grim droids and delta squad
If you look at actual Star Wars lore the “kashyyyk battle droid” is actually a driver droid the markings are supposed to be green like that
Yes but like 5-10 years ago everyone complained that there were too many seperatist builds...
#droidbattlepack
this video def highlighted some problems in the manufaction of lego star wars, and I feel that since the clones are considered cooler and the "good guys" they recieve more attention. Im not complaining about that, I'd just like to see some more of the Seperatists.
An idea for a droid battlepack would be one on Utapau with a crab droid, several b1s, and a super b
The 2000s Trade Federation and CIS Lego sets were so good. I wish I still had my MTT, AAT, and hailfire droid assembled.
I remember when TCW first come out and they were able to diversify the sets between Droid vehicles and clone vehicles
When i was a kid i had this geonosis battleback where its 2 droids, a commandee droid, a spider droid, and that hailfire class vehicle. I would go back into the lego hobby if they make a new hailfire vehicle set
We need a UCS MTT if they don't exist / arent needed
I would love a droid battle pack to include Driodeka and magmaguad with some nice legion tanks from the battle of naboo to back them up. Maybe a new dropship.
1:20 dude, they're tank driver droids from the clone wars season 1
