      @@sangamsingh3 why are you lying bro. My communication skills are excellent and qualification is also. I gave tl round there, they selected me but tech mahine ta is mnc. Tech mahindra does cross check each and everything. I have already cleared all rounds there. This is the wrong way to calculate shrinkage.

    Loved the video. Bohot hi thairau tha aapke explanation mein. I like that in a teacher.
    Attrition ek aur tareeke se calculate kar sakte hain.
    Number of employees left during the year/(number of employees at the start of the year + Number of employees joined during the year) * 100
    The output for the same data will be 19.39%
    The difference between your output and my output is around 5% which can lead to negative effects to a company
    Jaise main ne dekha hai the above formula is used in majority of companies
    And it gives you an accurate and lower rate of attrition

    There is a different formula for calculating the planned shrinkage,
    for planned shrinkage we take total agent headcount not number of agent scheduled for the period.
    Example
    Total headcount - 20
    Agents scheduled- 16
    unplanned leave 2
    planned leave 3
    To calculate unplanned shrinkage formula will remain 2/16*100
    To calculate planned shrinkage formula will be 3/20*100
    But overall the calculation may differ from organization to organization

    Calculation of Shrinkage = Planned Shrinkage + Unplanned Shrinkage.
    Planned Shrinkage = [Total number of leaves + Total number of week-offs] / Total headcount.
    Unplanned Shrinkage = [Total number of absent + (Half-day/2)] / Total roster-count.

    Total Shrinkage = Total No of Planned Leaves+ Total No of Week Off + Unplanned Leaves/ Total No of Employees

    Unplanned Shrinkage = Unplanned Leaves/ Total Roster Count
    How to calculate roster count = Total no of employees - total no of planned leaves + total no of week off

    Short & Sweet, I need a clarification on Attrition. How to calculate Annualized Attrition? I have data from Jan to Apr. Starting of January month we have 100 members, in Feb 20 members resigned and in April 15 members joined. In this situation how to annualize attrition. Please clarify me

    Very nice video and easy to understand but sir we can use formula =total no of attrition/opening headcount+no of new joining *100 and this will give you lower percentage. And one other if we calculate monthly or quarterly or 5 month of the financial year then we can use formula =total no of resignation/closing headcount *12/no of month like if april then no of month will be 1 if may then 2 if june then 3 if sept then 6
    Please confirm I am correct if not request you to please correct me...
