Raj becomes more confident. Sheldon becomes more sociable and light-hearted.
Raj and Sheldon work well together---which they did work together in one episode. Many episodes show Raj and Sheldon sitting next to each other at the cafeteria while Leonard and Howard sit together across from them.
Plus Raj agrees with Sheldon's way of pronunciating "Lever" and Leonard and Howard pronounce it their own way.
Haven't you notice Raj is in general a LOT more patient with Sheldon than Leonard and Howard?? Not a coincidence.
