Great content guys and the reason for some of the places you’ve went to being more quiet than you’d expect is because a lot of people are quite ignorant and choose to go to places like santorini those typical touristy holiday destinations . going to places like kephallonia, corinth, sparti, Paros, naxos, Athens, Delphi these are places full of rich history and these are places for travelling , the country that brought us democracy , science and great food is the best country in the world ❤
We love kefalonia ! We stayed in lassi the twice we have been, also been to lefkada, halkidiki, zante, kos, skiathos, Rhodes etc ! We just love greece, even though we have done Mexico, Cuba, Cape Verde, we always come back to beautiful greece 🇬🇷
My family is from close to Poros. We used to walk there nightly for ice cream when I was 12 years old. I haven’t been there since but planning to go see everyone this Summer!! Can’t wait! It’ll be so nostalgic as I’m 40 now. I will video tape the entire thing and post it :)
Came across your channel because of your motorhome. We Are motorhomers but have also been going to Kefalonia for 28 years. It is the most amazing place. My kids have gone since 10 months old. Now 20 and 23 and still go back with partners. There is nowhere like Kefalonia it draws you back. Plz don't advertise too much.....roll on 28th Aug Kefalonia we are back.....😍

Greece is beautiful! Definitely on my bucket list. Can’t wait to watch the Amalfi video! We were there back in July 2016! It was so busy then but beautiful.
I visited Kefalonia with my Mum last year and absolutely adored it! Such a peaceful place with such friendly people. I'm going back in May and I honestly can't wait, my happy place :)

Zante, Corfu, Crete are beautiful too. I saw the turtles in Zante they protect them and caves. Kefalonia looks romantic or maybe for a fairly quiet hol. I love Greece always have and the food is delicious I make a lot at home to eat 😍

Did a day trip to Kefalonia from Zante and loved it Visited Melissa in Cave, Sami,the beautiful town of Agia Effimia and Argostoli. Will be back to spend longer there.I can reccomend Zakynthos too its stunning.
I visited the island last year with my girlfriend and it was the best choice we could have made. If you want to explore a place which isn't as crowded as Santorini or Mykonos while also providing much natural Greek beauty Kefalonia is probably the best choice for your holidays. I also think the beaches are overall way more beautiful on Kefalonia(or ionian islands in general) than those on the aegean islands.
Ooh I came back from Kef at the weekend. Loved it. Poros was lovely and quiet and had amazing cliff top taverna experience. Best beach Kaminia in the south near katelios. Worst beach by far Antisamos near Sami(unless you like hoards of people, no beach and wasps). Don’t try to go up the mountain from the south! The road isn’t a road it’s a goat track. V scary and the panda didn’t like it(the mrs even less). All tavernas are excellent and not one duff meal. Brill island, would recommend
Love watching your vlogs . We are heading to Kefalonia next year . Did you have to book the water taxi to Fteri beach & how much was the return trip ? Looks a beautiful beach . We are looking at staying in Asos for a week with a car .
Aah, was confused as Poros is one of the Cyclades islands, didn't know there was a Poros on Kef. Very nice. To confuse matters there is Paros island as well lol
Actually Poros is not in the Cyclades but in Argosaronikos islands, along with Aegina, Hydra, Spetses and Agkistri. Paros on the other hand, is in the Cyclades lol.
@@nige3801 Even if you had gone more recently, it is very confusing for non-Greeks since there are many islands and some of them have very similar names. Hydra is sooo beautiful and Cohen's room is so small and cute.
You are going to love it 😁 we hired from a company in Lixouri town centre and had no issues. Can’t remember the name of it but I think it is in the video somewhere ☺️
There is also nearby Melissani the Cave of Drogarati which is even more amazing. It has a balcony with a physical rock in the shape of a throne and the best part of the cave is a round area where some classical orchestras have actually played live into the Cave. Of course the acoustics is fantastic !!!! The downside is the climbing back up to surface which is quite tiresome.
Yeah we saw photos of that cave and it looked brilliant! With the bike dramas we ended up running out of time so had to give it a miss this time unfortunately
I'm visiting the island with my mother in September. What was the name of the restaurant in Poros? :) Where you had the vegan food? I'm vegan and I'm stressing a bit about finding food. :p

Unfortunately, the rental agreement didn’t cover punctures as it isn’t on the insurance 😬 we were expecting a lot more than €50 so we were happy with that haha!
The theory (to be taken lightly mind) is that in a couple, if one person loves olives, and one hates them, they work well for each other/are meant to be. I personally think this applies to other food too- but it’s a nice thought
