I think the double length run for these coatings is a good decision on Kuro's part, much less stress to pull on the banners for those that want them. All these skins are so tempting to buy...
The default animations are already top tier level and coatings are way beyond that. The visuals of the game are really good, you could spend hours watching them.
People call the cost pretty bad, and i used to think it too when i started back in qu patch (transcendant), but i havent topped up at all in pgr and have idol karenina, Liv dark mode and bianca white coatings. All while still having enough BC to spend on characters and stay hero warzone and 1-5% UPPC (since the banners themselves do give some tickets back too!) Well, of course it came at the cost of malding and not missing a single daily or weekly in 3 years like me 😆 but im glad kuro offers the option to us f2p players at least!
IDK how you do that, my biggest problem is still Norman. It became worse if anything - with 7k BP chars I'm getting killed in 2-3 hits by those spider-like robots with turrets. Not like bosses are any better, SS Lamia / SS 21 / SS Vera run out of time on Cloud Island which have never been the case before.
Same with me. I got the bianca white and going offline for 2 month. But still got all characters because i can grab old limited char from standard banner. And I'm still f2p

so i started PGR as soon as i heard DMC5 collab was announced and i was already enamored with wuthering waves and NOW these devs are making it impossible for me to stay F2P for either game....i need a raise
Considering I'll be skipping Luna to get her for blue tickets (because yes, I haven't wasted them on CW which will be free, screw her) I will have just enough by the time it will arrive. However I still haven't decided whether I will spend those BC on a skin or on a 6* weapon for some upcoming char. But on the other hand 6* weps are important for amplifiers, and the next one will be only Lilith so idk.
Umm i guess getting free alpha and her coating will be a good call for me and hanying and lucia needs to be in my team ..so yeah i planned out the neccesities.. also the pgr icons you made are amazing Lina!! i can now use them for discord servers ..thank you hope to see further best contents.
Hope kuro doesn't make this a tradition of skins and backgrounds being separated (yah its cheaper but cmon not everyone is willing to spend 15€ just to get a backgrounds because u can buy 2 months of monthly with those kind of cash)
this is following the CN being 1 year ahead but Kuro is going make global catch up to CN next year hopefully we don't miss out on too much and they make patches quicker

My main goal is actually Lucia Crimson Weave's gacha coating. Like, she's my main and her gacha coating looks so cool, I really want it. I know Nanami's gonna be the better Lightning DPS when she comes out, but I just really prefer Crimson Weave's playstyle so I'mstill gonna use Lucia as much as I can. A bit bummed with Luna Oblivion's background being premium currency only. On one hand, I like that getting the coating is cheaper now, but that background looks really cool. Even though I'm a low spender, it's kinda hard to justify trading 2 monthly passes for 1 background. I guess we'll see when the time comes.
I really want the Liv coating so she matches with Wata for the fire team with green/black colors...unfortunately neither Lee nor Lucia go with them. Guess I could have Lucia and Wata match with his upcoming cowboy skin and her alternative red/black skin? But then Liv doesn't match. I can't make my PGR meta teams be aesthetic. My life is truly the hardest.
I have decided, i just gonna pull for coating gacha, not future characters, because coating we don't know they will return or nah, if the coating return we don't know for how long, but characters, u still can get it whenever u want, this is smart move for F2P player and not that serious on Meta
May I ask if I'm the only one who likes Lamia's gacha coating the least? Okay hear me out... She's a mermaid, I get it. Her coating just makes her more like any mermaid you see in your childhood cartoons and whatnot. And honestly imo, I like her default because goth mermaid, which is not as common, at least in my experience. im fiending for alpha’s skin but i also like to keep up with the new characters 😭 although, i still have over half of the story content, 1/3 of derived from matrix and all of cursed waves left to do. might be able to spare 12000 for her coating if i finish everything before it runs.
i think synchronization makes choosing between spending for coating or getting full set SS rank new S rank harder. Example being that Alpha CW Yakuza coating that you mentioned will get side benched by new Nanami. Most effective (as in most used) will be probably that Lamia coating since Lamia hasn't had a competition so far.
I think PGR outfit is amazing and I'm happy for the people who got them For me I would just borrow a character with the coating for Norman cuz I'm broke asf and I always prioritize getting new character to play than outfit. Honestly I would spend some money to buy outfit if I can, too bad I'm playing in CN and can't top up

I'm estimating that i'll probably get around 30000+bc at march So i'll.probably get around 80000 (if i hadn't pull for any character) somewhere in 2025. Preferrably august or september If i get to a preferable point that seems enough, i'll pull one each week i guess
I love Luna's skin (yes i wanna be fed by mama bird), and i do think CW coating is too good to pass on. So i'll do my best to get these 2. Haven't had the need to spend on the game yet but i dunno how the sped up patches gonna affect that. Either way i won't mind to spend tbh if i have to, since the game's been treating me nice so far not making me spend.

It's usually best to pick up with your old account but it depends! I recommend checking out the PGR subreddit and asking people in the Daily Questions Megathread about the state of your original account. They're usually very nice and helpful there.
