The hate on Ian Garry is getting kind of lame and not really funny. Sure he came off as kind of cocky in past interviews but are we supposed to pretend like that is not normal for an ambitious fighter? And then all the shit with his wife, it is a weird situation but again it's none of anyone's business and he does have the right to be pissed at people mocking his family. Sean O'Malley actually admitted to his wife sleeping with other men, with Ian Garry there is 0 evidence he is a cuck it's just tall poppies syndrome and weak MMA fans picking on him because they think he's an easy target.
From what I've seen he seems to not let any of it get him down and he has just pushed forward and taken dangerous fights. He isn't the most dominant fighter but very technical and talented and realistically I don't think he's actually such a bad guy. Just someone that people found it easy to clown on. Whether he wins or loses this fight he is likely going to be one of the most dangerous fighters at the top of welterweight for a long time to come. Glad to see there is some shift in how people view him, I like both him and Shavkat and I'm just interested to see how such a high level fight goes down.

Garry will mop the floor with Shavkat. Sooo many people think Shavkat will dominate Garry. The only way Shavkat can win? Is getting a submission. Garry will win by a decision and probably either a controversial one or a lop sided win

This guy is so damn pompous, I can't stand him.
He's sitting there trying to say Shavkat hasn't done anything impressive yet.
Yet, Ian has accomplished quite literally nothing but decisions, earned by way of running.
It ends with Shavkat. He will knock-out Ian or submit him within two rounds imo.
Can't wait to see Ian lose and realize he wont ever be a ufc champion.
I never wish for anyone to lose and struggle, but Ian has earned an extra special karma humble pie.

Saying Geoff Neal was winning the fight shows how delusional he is. Saying he’s fought better competition is hilarious since Shavkat finished the 2 opponents they share and Garry barely got past Neal. He’s ducked everyone that has called him out and this weekend he’s getting exposed, it’s not going to be close at all.

Actually become a fan of Garry after taking this fight. Watched his other fights and a few interviews and he seems like a cool dude. He has elite striking, also very well rounded in the wrestling. When he finds range on you your in big trouble. Those combos are nasty and so quick. If he can find his range against shavkat and withstand the wrestling he will be favourite to win for me and break him down even KO him.
