- No output on one of your Apm outputs 1-4? use this fix
to change the outputs to the other side. I show cx20 apm and apm 2.6
very simple fix for apm 2.6 and cx20 apm 2.5.2
to switch the motor ouputs to the other side.
this is only good for quads or less.

no need to re do your calibrations if going from 3.2.1 to 3.2.1

Hello ! Is it possible to just move 1 output ? I tried to compile with arduino-arducopter, but with my mod on librairies, nothing changeCan you explain to me please ? My motor output n°3 is dead and I nead an aux channel (actually on M7)This is on a cx-20
Hi .. the firmware should be fine to use then.. ..because your bad esc would fall on number 6... number 7 and 8 is your old 1 and 2.. I am still moving files over from my huge crash ..and trying to recover most of my stuff.. .. so I can't help you at the moment with the source..i don't have those files back up yet..
Ok so with your fw, can I use an aux output on m1 or m2 like my m7 ?

have a hexacoper and my apm output nr 5 is not working. Is it possible to move that motoroutput to output no 7 in the firmware?

drive.google.com/open?id=0B2w6_OKE_2kxZ2VNQ1dEVnE1T1U here you go... i don't have a hexa to test with however i did test the motor outputs .. so the only thing i have done is changed the output 5 and 7.. the rest is the default firmware numbering.. as always when loading custom firmware if you get a verification error at the end of the update. Make sure not to unplug the apm .. Just pick a earlier version of the firmware and re write to it. .. then try doing custom again. ( this is for hexa firm 3.2.1)

This is for external compass not working. I did this and bad compass health and external compass works.
In mission planner go to configuration, full parameter tree, compass, enable external compass, change from 0 to a 1, the write parameters theirs your fix.

If lights are still coming on but not flashing you might have a bricked apm
does it still at least get detected as a com port?

Hello friend. i have problem beep beep beep beep motor 3 & 4 after I re-flashed the firmware that you shared managed to make 3 motors 1,2,3 normal again. but motor 4 has the same problem with the beeping sound. beep.beep. can the motor pin 4 move to the 7/8 output pin by changing the firmware again?
you have calibrated motor 4 esc?
you have calibrated remote in mission planner?
you tried putting motor four esc in other output . example output 1? and it keeps beeping?
You can plug esc directly into receiver for motor four as well on throttle.
channel 3 i believe. and test that way.
If still beeps with above
it sounds like the esc is bad then.
@@ModItBetter I have done everything according to your instructions. & I've made sure all esc is normal no problem. this seems to be a problem with the abnormal output of the atmega 2560 MCU pins. So from that, can it be changed to another pin? eg output pin 7/8 for signal output pin 4

@@ModItBetter I've also re-flashed it with the ardupilot motor mod firmware. it looks like the motor pins 3,4, 5 have a problem with the MCU Atmega 2560 because previously there was a problem with output 3 & 4. after re-flashing with the mod motor firmware, the motor output 1,2,3 worked perfectly. so in conclusion the output on my ardupilot 252 cx20 board has a problem with pins 3,4,&5. while pins 1,2,6,7,8 it works perfectly.
@@yonmudi Have you tried to put the esc 4 / motor 4 on pin one this is extremely important to know if it actually does work on another output.
if it still does not work .its mostlikely because you fried the esc .by using dual power while connecting to mission planner .. battery and usb power.. i have a video on how to connect the safe way

I also made custom firmware for the esc as it might not be fried just corrupt.as dual power corrupts the sil chip extremely easy.
If you can solder its a somewhat of a easy mod. but does take some skill.

Again its important to test motor 4 on another output if it works just fine then yes the apm has burnt out outputs.. but if not you will have to follow one of the video's .
I'm not even sure i still have the source so i can edit the firmware to remap the pins again ..

Thomas Benson Yes it does... you just need to open the controller and change the self centering system (stick) and reconfigure your radio
reconfigure in mission planner ? I can change the self centering system but not keen on doing any soldering
I'm not sure where in mission planner to change that as well.. I did find it in the source really easy.. i can change the throttle to pitch no problem .. but need to spend a tad more time figuring out how to arm it now lol.. and the other problem is the cx20 beeps at mid range .....because the throttle stick is now your pitch it will be stuck at mid range so the cx20 remote will always beep..
bangs6996 yeahhh.... One more thing... U will need to disable the "stabilze" flight mode if you will use the self centralized throtle... I did that to my radios now Im using PosHold, AltHold and Loiter... and is perfect

I don't have a mode1 transmitter anyways..
.I switched e,t in the source code to come to a stupid conclusion I did nothing more then switch e,t around that could of been easily done on the receiver.. arming is up side down.. pushing throttle up and yaw to the right.. so I still would have to switch that in the source..
