This video had to be upload last week... But unfortunately I'm still a sound technician newbie 😅 I had so much issues with the sound of this episode ... I tried to make it as good as possible, so hope this will be enough. As we say, we learn more from fails than success so... Yeah I learned a lot 😅
This computer is the 2nd computer from my uncle. It has a keyboard issue after a glass of water fell on it. So I decided to fix this and take the time to make the performances of his laptop a bit nicer 🤩

I finally finished the video editing of this episode… Hope you won’t be too much bothered by the sound issues I had to deal with. « We learn more from our failures than our victories » they say… Well, I learned a lot with this upload 🤪

Hey, I remember you had experienced this problem with the sound again before, but I think you said that you worked it out. How come it reoccured? Anything we can do to help? I mean, if you explain it, someone may know something that will help you work it out for good
Well, at the very beginning, I used the internal mic of the camera, but the sound wasn't really great.
Then, I bought an external mic with a jack cable. The sound was better but I still had this background noise.
I changed the cable for another one with a better quality... Fail
So I decided to change the external mic by a better quality one, and with an SD card recording and without a jack cable, and wow, no background noise anymore and the sound quality was way better.
But was not used to using this new mic and.... I forgot to put an SD Card at the beginning. So it missed me some sound recording. Fortunatelly, I also added the old mic as a sound recording backup.
When I realised that I missed to put the SD Card, I putted it in of course, BUT
When you have this type of mic, you have to sync the audio and the video parts. So for the previous episode, I did 2 claps with my hands when I started each sound recording... And I forgot to do it for this episode... 🤪
At the end, it missed me lot of parts of the sound recorded with the new mic and had to use the sound of the old mic for them. I had to check on what part of the video I had which Audio recording, tag them etc... And for these ones I had the good quality recording, I had to synchronise the sound and the video without the claps .... 😱😱😱
So I would say I don't need help anymore for this. Just need to do things the right way and stop to be a newbie 😅
Then I guess I could still improve the quality of the audio recording with this new new mic, but it will come video after video with experience.

can you please tell me, what spray and other cleaning items (liquid on the cotton tip) are used in this video?
@@tusharriz Sure, I am using:
- compressed air cans to remove dust
- Isopropyl alcohol (ISO) to deeply clean PC components (this product is drying very quick so it is perfect for electronic components)
- WD40 before ISO on chipsets for hard removal thermal past. But I every time use ISO after WD 40 to be sure the components are completely dry.

I had a laptop that looked almost similar to that, it was a HP 15-ay039wm from 2016. I had it since June of 2017, but it ended up dying in November of 2019 due to a faulty charger port.
mmmh I guess you could replace it. Or ask an electronic shop to replace it if you don't have soldering skills.

Fixing notebooks is such a pain. Three main problems: small plastic breaks, annoying antenna wire and confusing screws with different sizes.
Definitely agree 😅 That was probably one of the worst video to make, but I'm pretty happy with the result

Hey where did you use sewing machine oil mentioned in repar tools in description of this video. Did you use it anywhere in laptop repair ?

Nope I didn't use sewing machine oil for this laptop. I usually use it to lubricate the computer fans. This part of the video description I the same for all the videos.

Well, the video should be in 4K. I made the shooting in 4K, and didn't zoom in any part of the video during the video editing. So it's true 4K.
I uploaded the video a bit late. only 30min before it was really published. Maybe RUclips didn't have time to make available better versions of it. On my RUclips studio, I can see that the 3 versions are available right now. SD, HD, and 4K.

This laptop really doesn't seem very well made sadly, so i'm surprised it turned out as well as it did!
I never did laptops deep cleaning before that one so it's hard for me to have an opinion about that to be honest. But for sure unmount it was pain in the a$$ 😅

oh, well, it didn't cost anything. I mean, this PC was my oncle PC so... I did It for free. And I did the cleaning for free for every PCs on this channel. I'm already so happy to find a nice PC to clean and making a video with it 😉 And that's basically why I didn't upload any new video yet since the last one. I have hard time to find an interesting PC to clean on video.
