Adventist Pioneers in Animated Motion

- Over 20 Adventist Pioneers in old photographs brought to life by the Deep Nostalgia software. A rare look at how they may have appeared in real life.
This is very cool. They lose the harsh look that old photos often gave since they had to hold still for so long to get a film exposure. Really helps personalize them.
I know some people are already calling this weird and creepy but I love it. It makes them seem more real and recent. Not a distant memory in history. But real people like us who can and will make a difference. Whoever did this is dope.
Thank you for saying this.. I felt the same too...
@@lovlynvaradarajan Same here. Especially the one's of Ellen White's kids, brought them to life for a few seconds. Was very moving to me.
For me it's super creepy and weird; bordering on spiritualism. No thank you.
Why do they look demon possessed?
I understand the strong feelings on this issue. But just a thought not meant to destabilise people’s standpoints, why did we not have mosaics of Jesus, His disciples, Mary, Joseph, Martha, John the Baptist? Perhaps the art was not so developed….
But in our world now where there is digital art, etc, surely it would not be such a bad thing to frame a picture of some recent favourites like HM Richards, etc. Certainly not likening them to Christ (as that would be blasphemy) but keeping pictures/stills of some them… creepy? Really? Why?
Please help here….
Tech is amazing, but we should also make pioneers "alive" by republishing of their works
@2:00 Uriah Smith looks like a really kind man....hard to imagine his leg was amputated without anesthetic, all he had was his mother holding his hands (he was 13)
thats rough. I wonder if it was like childbirth-like pain levels? If the surgeon had to clamp his leg still?
We will meet them in heaven
Wow amazing work ,looks like real movements of eyes fabulous
I love it too!!! Something weirdly historical in a sweet way-love to see the heroes of our times too like Batchelor, Borrh, Lomacang, Skeete, Brooke’s, Bradshaw, etc, etc, in some kind of mosaic. Think I would be among the first to order one or two
Amen. Thank You For All You Have Done And Go Through So God's Children Around The World Could Feel The Same Way And Hold On. For The Second Coming Of Jesus Christ.
I love it! Thank you so much!
imagine getting to heaven and setting up a meet-and-greet for all the Bible characters and reformers.
Thank you. Can't wait to see more. J. N. Loughborough was one of my favorite SDA writers too. He was the first pastor of the church and traveled widely with the White's.
Thank God for you my brother. I'm a visual type of person, so when I read their writings I can imagine there expression, and what it must be like. For me, I love it! ❤
Thank you for this video 🙂
I enjoyed this. A tiny bit of personality and these older pictures is fascinating
Awesome!
No doubt
Ellen´s smile made me smile.
🙂
Hey great job, good work!
How did they do this!!! I want to learn. Happy Sabbath brethren
SDA's, you are truly under a spell!!
This is awesome. God you are so good to us.
PARABÉNS FICOU MARAVILHOSO, MUITO REAL!!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Fantastic!
1 John 2:3 The Test of Knowing Him
Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1 John 2:5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.
John 15:12
[12]This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Muito emocionante poder ver estes nosso pioneiros da fé !!! E pessoalmente lá no céu ....
How can they be in heaven, ahead of time? They aren't supposed to go, until the second coming!

Gracias nonetheless and God bless.

It's not about religion. It's about a personal relationship with Jesus .
That's great
How come our historian undo their work in their publishing?? And promote their opinion rather than their work,so much so that in 1956,7 the bk QOD altered our founding principles of truths and doctrine.
EGW almost looks Swiss
Huh? What do the Swiss look like?😄
Interesting

There are hundreds of videos on RUclips about Seventh-day Adventists - some videos by Seventh-day Adventists who, in their attempt to simplify the story, get some of the details wrong and some videos by people who oppose the advent movement (in which case it isn’t surprising that they get some things wrong).
First, what is your working definition of the word “adventist”?
I’ve been reading dictionaries since before 1957 and I have yet to find one that lists the word “adventist” with a lowercase “a”. I have found several dictionaries, however, that list the word “Adventist” with a capital “A”. In each case, those dictionaries defined the word as having to do with the Seventh-day Adventist organization.
There was no Seventh-day Adventist organization before 1861 and I’ve never found any evidence that the name “Seventh-day Adventist” was even suggested before 1860.
So if we accept the dictionary definitions, how should we refer to the people who were pioneers of the advent movement between 1844 and the 1860s? And how should we refer to the people who were part of the Millerite movement between 1831 and 1844?
You can use whatever language you wish, of course, but, in the interest of accuracy, I suggest using the word “Adventist” with a capital A to refer to people who were - or are - members of the Seventh-day Adventist organization and using the lowercase “adventist” to refer to people who were - and people who are - not members of the SdA organization but who were or are premillennialists based on the historicist method of Bible interpretation.
William Miller and Joshua V. Himes were adventists in that lowercase sense of the word (Himes was a pastor in the Christian Connexion. William Miller was a baptist) but neither Miller or Himes were ever members of the SdA organization.
Rachel Oaks Preston may have become an adventist (in the lowercase sense of the word) at some point in her lifetime but I’m not aware of any evidence that she did. When she met Frederick Wheeler - a Methodist adventist - she was using Oaks - her deceased first husband’s name - and her denominational affiliation was Seventh Day Baptist. (Her name became Rachel Preston after she remarried.)
If “adventist” is defined as someone who expects Jesus to return, that definition would include both Muslims and people whose eschatology is very different from and based on an entirely different premise than the eschatology of Seventh-day Adventists. Some people (including some Seventh-day Adventists I’ve met) assume that Seventh-day Adventist eschatology is based on the eschatology of Willimam Miller or that of Ellen Harmon White.
Wrong again. William Miller expected a premillennial second advent but also expected the saints to reign with Jesus ON EARTH during the millennium. Ellen White was one of several people whose study of the Bible resulted in Seventh-day Adventist eschatology but - and this is important - both Miller and the people who developed Seventh-day Adventist eschatology used the same METHOD of Bible interpretation that had been used by protestants from the sixteenth century until the mid-nineteenth century. For an overview of that method, please consider watching a video by David Nikao Wilcoxson “Revelation - Historicists”.
Can you all please put away the bickering and strife? I get tired of every video that is good having some form of debate or challenge let’s enjoy pure things and uplift Jesus name with praise. Let’s see Christ in those who are Christians. The World is cruel enough it’s cold out here can’t you see we are to Press together as the prophet exhorted us. Mercy!
@@sirrothschild7085 Eccuminists in other denominations urge each other, “Let’s put away our differences so we can work and worship together.” That is more easily done by people who either aren’t acquainted with history or who are willing to ignore history.
My wife and I were married in Iowa and our children were born in Iowa. We moved to Utah in 1982 where there is a semblance of “unity” achieved by people being taught to not study for themselves and not think for themselves.
A modern prophet can be helpful to the extent that we are encouraged to read and study our Bibles for ourselves but a little historical context can go a long way toward helping people to understand the nature of the nineteenth century advent movement.
If you think providing people with some of that history constitutes “bickering and strife”, please explain why you think so. It certainly wasn’t intended that way.
@@TimTestifies If you had lived in Greece in the eleventh century, would you have accused the pope of causing division? If you had lived in Germany the sixteenth century, would you have accused the protestants of causing division? If you had lived in England the late sixteenth century, would you have accused the puritains of causing division? If you had lived in the eighteenth century when John Wesley emphasized "the second blessing" (sanctification), would you have accused him of causing division?

Come on bro, you know SDA has been a white dominated prejudiced group from ever since.
Don't expect that to change now.
Maybe they will do a separate one for black SDA's since they have a separate
conference for blacks.
Can't allow the races to mix too much in God's Remnant church now can we.
Exactly! and the pictures of the gay pioneers. And the left handed ones. And those with large feet ! They're also a disenfranchised, oppressed group; make no mistake about that!

@@TimTestifiesI🙏🙏🙏 for the lost.
Ellen White held up a heavy family Bible for 15-20 minutes. That proves that she was a true prophet, (whether or not her prophecies actually came true). Don’t be a non-believer!
Jaco, your reasoning about Ellen White being a true prophet of God, is erroneous by any measure. The fact that she held up a Bible for hours is proof that she was sent by God? Then Satan must have been a true prophet, because he turned a staff into a snake!!! Or maybe Moses was not a true prophet of God because when his arm was tired, his people would lose the battle, but when his arm was propped up, they won the battle. In her own words she said "she was not a prophet." She also said, blasphemously, that she was "Much more than a prophet" a title that was given to no one else but John the Baptist, by Jesus Christ himself. Jesus Christ said, I am the way, the truth, and the life, and no one (Including Ellen White) comes to the Father, except through me. She also stated in her book "Last Day Events" where she heard when God announced the day and the hour, but when she woke up, ( Apparently she and her accompanying angel dozed off just after God made the statement) she forgot. I have more evidence to prove where she was not sent by God. For starters, She has never been able to prove such. Know the truth, and the truth shall set you free. PEACE, Jaco.
@@conradjones451 Sorry to make you write all that. I was just facetiously showing the ridiculousness of the belief in this woman who created a cult thru massive fraud

SDA is teaching true religion
No they are not . The Sunday law and investigative judgement are phantoms. Both are false teachings of EGW . There are no scriptures to support either one of her false teachings .
@Joel Villarreal Hi, I don't get a response to the Sunday law or investigative judgement cause there is no scripture to support them. I do get a response talking about the Sabbath .
@@janetdavidson8798 Hello again, Janet. I see you are making this same, false statement on many videos here on RUclips. And I will keep giving the truth from the Bible:
Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
.
That one verse clearly shows a Sunday Law issue at the end time, and the truth of the Investigative Judgment.
.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
@Joel Villarreal Joel, if you don't believe in keeping God's 4th commandment, of course you will not see the connection. That is to be expected from unbelievers.
.
But why do you choose to forget what God specifically says to "Remember"?
@Joel Villarreal Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Creepy people
wow, that is so creepy and fake......
See no sense! Next step is animated icon of Jesus or Mother Mary?
Like Mormons, most of these pioneers denied the Holy Trinity. One God in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The Great Controversy claims that Jesus was elevated to authority as the Son of God. This is rank heresy.
They too had to go through a period of learning and growth; Before Ellen white came to a better understanding she ate pork, and Abraham himself originally came from a family of idol worshippers, right?
@@warpnin3 Learning and growing in the Lord is fine. Yet she claimed to have been a divine messenger.. that every word that proceeded from her mouth was from the throne of God. She claimed an Angel revealed mysteries to her.. Sound familiar? The Great Controversy was heavily borrowed from Joseph Smith. She claimed that Jesus was elevated to the Sonship (clear heresy known as Arianism). James White and the pioneers never believed in the Holy Trinity.
Andrews of Andrews' University said the Trinity was fiction. She claimed that the Father has a physical body like Jesus. Very Mormony. She denied that the atonement took place on the cross, but rather, atonement won't be complete until the world's sins are laid upon Satan ( absolute heresy!) She claimed Jesus was born with a sinful nature like we yet He persevered to set an example that we too might persevere. She claimed the last generation will have to become righteous by their own effort and will have to stand before God without the benefit of Christ. There's plenty of reasons to stay far away from any Seventh Day Adventist teaching. It is plainly not orthodox and true. Just another American group running off their own lights..
This app is borderline spiritualism. The dead know not anything ecc 9:5
The reason this creation is not spiritualism is because it does not teach that the dead are still alive. Let us have zeal WITH knowledge. Animation is not bad within itself. When you mingle it with falsehoods and a false premise either or or both then it is sin. Call sin by it’s right name. I say this in love knowing you love God. ❤️ Happy Sabbath friend.
