Hello dear My name is Moses Joseph N'dawa. Am new here Since my father die i always wish to study abroad,I want to apply for a students loan for me to study abroad , but i don't know how to take a loan
It depends on you and your plans. The visa officers would likely not ask that; many students have been taking loans for years and they know how students repay. Also, if you plan to, you can mention you plan to return to your home country to work and pay off the loans gradually. Note that, taking student loans isn't a big deal in these countries.

Do you delibrately skipped payment of SEVIS Fees ($350) or you didn't pay it before paying ($160) Visa Fees? Am confused at that point actually... I was able to secure MPOWER Student loan for my entire financial needs though. Pls, clarify about the SEVIS fees payment. Thanks 👍
@@swelpt7442 there are two interest i can see in the agreement document in a lay man's term, you would be paying some amount monthly 20 to 60days after the disbursement to your school and that amount is the monthly interest of your loan, you will pay that monthly till you graduate or more but that's not the loan interest, you will start paying both principal and the loan interest after your graduation. For instance lets say you get 50k loan, you will end up paying total sum of a little above 100k inclusive of interest and capital. I hope this helps, that's what i can deduced from the loan agreement though. i hope am right. Initiate the process, you'll understand it more clearly based on what you are qualified to get.
@@gabrieloginni9163 i have been trying to understand the calculations in order to know the exact financial implications of the loan I am about to take, especially the monthly repayment schedule. in summary, without discount, I think if one borrows say x, the total amount to be paid back would be 2.39x, if you understand what I mean. with a discount, say x is borrowed, the total to be paid back is 1.67x for both U.S and Canadian schools. Further clarifications and suggestions would be highly appreciated.
Hi Doyin, I have my interview coming up soon but I am so confused with advices I am getting that I shouldn't mention mpower loan at the embassy. From your story I knew you went with loan. Can you please advise on what I should do? Thanks
Okay. The most important thing is to only answer questions you've been asked. So if you aren't asked about how you'll fund your education, don't talk about it. But if the visa officer asks, you must mention your loans. All the best
Thank you so much for your informative videos, they have been so helpful. Please I'd like you to clarify me on this. Does taking a scholarship mean you must come back to your home country(Nigeria) immediately after studies? (1 year MSc in the UK). Can I school on scholarship(partial or full scholarship) and still apply for a post study work visa to remain in the UK ? Your response will really help me ma'am.
You just need to know the terms and conditions attached to the scholarship type. Many fully funded scholarships will mandate you go back to your home country after studying. Partial Scholarships most times do not make it mandatory to go back to your home country, just that the scholarship will not cover everything for your studies. Just understand the conditions attached to your scholarship. That's all
