  • www.TinsleyCompany.com - This type of bagging system uses an air packer to fill 50 lb. valve bags with shelled corn. These type of self-closing bags DO NOT require sewing.
First, the shelled corn is conveyed into a hopper using an auger conveyor. Then, the corn flows by gravity from the hopper into the air pressure chamber located at the top of the bagger. Air pressure blows a precise amount of corn (50lbs) into a custom multiwall paper valve bag. Once the bag reaches a set target weight, a clamp releases the filled bag from the spout, and it tips onto an incline conveyor. The conveyor raises the bag to an ergonomic height, where it gently rolls onto a gravity roller conveyor for an operator to pick it up and stack it on a pallet. Once the pallet has been filled, it is placed on top of an automatic pallet wrapping machine that secures the bags on the pallet for storage or shipping.
