I just took a MRI this evening and a 4K Score test last week. My PSA was 10.1 and my urologist ordered a 2 week treatment of Doxycycline 100 mg 2 times daily for 14 days. My follow up PSA test was 10.4. The doctor performed a DRE and said , "No nodules present and it felt normal, but swollen. Thanks to PCRI, I have learned not to immediately agree to a 12 needle biopsy. So, now I wait for results. I am 70 years old and have CHF, AFIB, severe Asthma and slight COPD.

I am 64 from Pakistan. I have enlarged prostate. It is 40 grams. I do have problems emptying my bladder with weak stream over the years but most recently more severe. My PSA in June 2021 was 1.17. On 4 March 2022 it went up to 4.41. I consulted a Urologist who did DRE and felt nothing suspicious. He advised septron and a repeat PSA test after 6 weeks. After taking the first dose of septron I had severe tingling as a result I discontinued septron immediately and instead used cranberry sachet and apple cider. I also started taking flomax for the last 6 weeks. I repeated my PSA test after six weeks and it came out to be 1.61. I went to a second lab and repeated the test next day. It came out to be 1.81. Then the same day I repeated the test In a third lab and it came out to be 1.69. Sir What do you? advise.

@@rajk9329 thanks for asking. While my other symptoms are still there, my PSA has remained at less than 2. Did a MRI which didn't find anything suspicious. Keep monitoring my PSA regularly. I am ok for now.
