I understand it's not totally jungkook's fault he slapped yn cause he thought it was her fault cause he always looked at her that way, he never trusted her and never actually saw how she treats minji and soonie being his sister he trusted her and minji being his daughter he couldn't think straight that someone tried to hurt her. Idk if he deserves yn or not but I surely want yn to leave him and minji now cause she has done a lot for them but he always ignored her and minji never spoke how much she loves yn as her mother infront of jk so he always misunderstood yn...let him make efforts and beg yn to come back to them. This can have a angst with happy ending (tho it doesn't deserve one cause Jk is still in love with his late wife). What I think the story should go like in my imagination:-
1- Let Minji tell JungKook the truth of who locked her right then and there.
2- JungKook realising it suddenly that he went too far with his reaction. But ego. So he goes from there.
3- Enough is Enough, and YN realises that. The very next day, she explains Minji that she can't live like this, and since Minji is a mature child, her letting her go.
4- JungKook realising she left the house. And that she just... went.
5- Divorce papers arrive at his place. He realises he went too far with his action.
6- Time skip to 1 month. JungKook is miserable due to the guilt. He desperately tries to find YN but fails, until,
7- He sees her in a mall with her frien who was at the house that day.
8- He approaches her to apologise to try make things right, but the friend stops him cuz she is a lawyer and she is the one who made divorce papers. She threatened JungKook to not step near her or she will go to court cuz she and her friends are eye witness to the abuse.
9- Him realising YN won't give him a chance like that so he begs for it on the name of Minji.
10- She agrees. He explains, he explains what's happening with him, that he is scared of the fact that YN is slowly taking his wife's place in Minji's heart.
11- Yn tells him she doesn't want to take that place she is making her own deserved place.
12- He tells her how Minji misses her, so she comes up with a decision, that she will take care of Minji cuz she genuinely loves her.
13- But, only for Minji, nobody and nothing else. JK agrees. But there's one condition of YN.
14- Whenever she'll come to meet Minji, JK will not come infront of her, inshort, they'll be divorced, Minji will know that, and will have to accept it. Point is, JK will never show his face to Yn.
15- Time skip to two years. Minji grew up to be 7, Yn grew up to learn her self worth it more important than anything, JK grew up to realise how wrong he always was and that he wasn't scared Minji would replace his late wife but in actuality, he was slowly finding solace in Yn's presence. He was guilty for that and that's why he never believed yn.
16- JK is madly in love with Yn. He tell her on Minji's birthday. And Yn decides she doesn't want to do anything with him but she admits that he has been showing changes even without being present infront of her. Like sending things via Minji, apology letters via Minji, cakes pastry flowers and all, via Minji.
17- So after a discussion with her lawyer friend, she decides to give him a chance.
18- 6 months later, he proved he deserved the chance, they take things slowly and he wins her. But she is still a little cautious.
19- Slowly they go for the relationship for 3 yrs and 3 yrs later Yn decides they should get Married and JungKook couldn't be happier.
20- That's it.

I would like it if the author could give yn some self-respect and self-worth because at the end of this abuse . Jk is abusing yn both mentally and physically, and this is not acceptable whether it's a ff or reality. I understand it is painful to lose the love of your life, and it's hard to come to terms but taking all of your anger, frustration, pain and suffering on an innocent person who has nothing to do with it is unacceptable behavior. If jk is sad and hurt with his lost does not stop you from talking and treating a person with respect and understanding. At the end of the day, the reason why he behaves like toward is because he has no respect for her, and he thinks that she is not good enough for him and as for his sister I wish she get the same treatment as she give yn . I think yn should separate from jungkook, and if not, she should not forgive and accept his apologies easily .
