Seriously, THEE kindest, humblest and most talented clarinetists I have ever met in my life. His love of music and the instrument is what we ALL should strive for. A beautiful human being in all sense. Thank you, Ricardo for your inspiring passion, devotion an humility in an all too neglected part of our souls and culture.
Ricardo uses a Goldentone mouthpiece and Rico brown box 1.5 reeds. He used to play on the Blue Dazzler Clarinet but Philly said it was too distracting on stage.
for those of you wondering, his clarinet looks a bit more fancy, like a Cannonball clarinet because it is silver plated or just silver keyed. his mouthpiece is the Morrie Backun Philadelphia Bb clarinet mouthpiece which you can purchase for roughly $500 when it is on sale. and that last song was rhapsody in blue by George Gershwin. it is not easy to glissando.

Yes, so hilarious when he says "I'm freaking out a little bit!" If you're freaking out, Ric, it doesn't show!
His sound is sublime!

Great playing from Morales!!! More Videos!!!!!
Thumbs up if that "not the best" Rhapsody in Blue solo, was one of the best you have ever heard!
Thanks for this video!!

Dean LeBlanc 1.5 reeds?!?!
LOL!!! (I feel you, man...)
@@kevinhall1687 It's a joke, because of all the comments here about what equipment Ricardo uses....like it matters!
Bravissimo!!!
His Rhapsody is worlds ahead of any of the other ones I've found on RUclips.
I L O V E the way you play clarinet! Sounds almost like a human voice, and this is exactly the way it should be played, imo.

@sorcererjr I thought that sounded familiar. Dr. McClellan made me do a pirouette to demostrate the turn during that pice.
What brand of reeds use Ricardo???
