I tried the white one with a leather strap. It’s smaller, not as puffy and wide, but still very nicely padded and soft and comfortable. It’s really beautiful and I actually like it better for me. I saw Sarah’s version for the first time in December, on a elegant, tall lady, she was wearing a winter coat. The whole outfit was beautiful, for the winter this bag is a lovely addition. And I liked, that there is no brand all over the bag, so I asked her which brand is it. For the warmer months I would choose the light version. It’s about 1800 USD in Switzerland 🇨🇭

I have 3 Bottega Veneta purses, with the last one purchased in 2018, so they’re all the intreciatto woven leather (older) style. Since the new designs came out, I’ve been eying on the Arco, the Pouch and mini Jodie. Not a huge fan of the Padded Cassette bag. I understand they have the regular Padded Cassette comes with a leather strap (and a cute triangle hardware), without the heavy chain. Haha get lots of practice opening the bag. ♥️♥️♥️
I love this bag! I ended up getting the padded cassette without the chain because the chain was too heavy for me. But I seriously love the look and love the color she got it in 😍
I think this bag looks great on Sarah. Great addition to her collection. She is not a luxury handbag beginner who needs all the bags to be the classic ones! Also very smart for not paying the retail price for this bag

P.S.: About the lock ... they actually tried with the regular magnetic lock ... and the bag has just opened by herself ... during walking ... when was filled up ... at full capacity. Probably because the bulky belts ... add over-tension in the flap. So, they had to choose this more secure lock.
I won this bag brand new. Disappointing, so heavy and holds little. A doorstop really & re-sale options pretty limited. Should have both leather and chain straps as changeable options.
