    did you notice if there's a way to put the stock exhaust shielding back on the Yoshi exhaust? my exhaust takes some abuse on the trails and i'd hate a new $600 exhaust on a $2499 new bike to get dinged up within one ride lol

      Honestly I haven’t tried the stock exhaust shield but I don’t see why it wouldn’t fit as I’ve seen lot of people do the pro circuits with it. I know if you really want to protect it the P3 carbon exhaust shield Top leg shield can be used on the Pro Circuit or Yoshimura exhausts but the lower header piece will not work. You can buy them at factoryminis website or store. But if you want to protect the bottom part look at my bash plate vid where you can see where it helps prevent rocks dinging the header pipe ect. Hope this helps ✌️

      @@everythingmx8655 getting the yoshimura.this week and will report back for those that want to keep the shielding and protect this ridiculously expensive exhaust!

      @@everythingmx8655 HEY! just following up like i said i would... you CANNOT REUSE THE STOCK EXHAUST SHIELDING WITH THE YOSHIMURA EXHAUST. the stock pipe has "nut-serts" welded to it so you can attach the shielding - the yoshimura pipe does NOT. the yoshimura also hangs a little lower down by the head so expect it to get beat by whatever comes off the back of the front wheel! sounds good though..

      @@kitvexed8229 wow thanks for the follow up! Yeah so without modding the yoshis it’s out in the open ready to be dinged lol. You would think they would make something for them considering how expensive they are compared to others. I guess there would be alternatives out there like the p3 carbon shields and maybe some after market parts out there. If I end up finding a perfect fit for the yoshis I’ll let you know but thankyou for that follow up to let us know 👌

    Do you have to tune the bike when installing the yoshi pipes?

    • @everythingmx8655
      @everythingmx8655  2 года назад +1

      With the yoshi pipes you can just bolt on without re-tuning

      ? What do you mean you can just bolt on why would you not need a tune it will run lean the pipe is a larger diameter hence drawing more airflow and would need to adjust fuel map accordingly??

    • @everythingmx8655
      @everythingmx8655  Год назад

      Hey Scott, you are right as it’s recommended and I’ve always done on bigger bikes. But from people I’ve spoken to that are professionals in the crf110 there is little to no damage to the bike, if you want to get the best performance from the exhaust then yeah a tune would be good to do
