I just recently purchased the game and tried the Teotibot without knowing that there is an app for it. Thanks for the playthrough. Makes bookkeeping a lot easier.
A terrific video. Thanks for making it. Just an observation - I think that, at 22:47, you could've matched 4 symbols with your 1st pyramid tile by moving the tile you placed 1 spot to the right, into the middle (and advancing on green, as you did).
Excellent video. Very well organized and informative. Question: At around the 46 minute mark you constructed two pyramid tiles with only the #5 worker in the location. Aren't you only just allowed to construct one tile with just one worker? I just got the game and am not completely familiar with the rules. Thanks.
Thanks Eric! One of the technology tiles I have gives me a 1 resource discount for construction and lets me treat the action as if I’d gone there with one extra die
OOPS! I did miss that on the first video. I did catch my mistake on the second video but I had already posted my error. I'm starting to accumulate a large collection of games and I like to watch videos of playthroughs to be sure I have the rules right before teaching the game to others. I always look for your videos first as I know I'll get an informative, concise, and entertaining playthrough. Thanks. By the way, hopefully you'll review my game (Cape May by Thunderworks Games) when it comes out later this year.
I really like the app, but it's annoying when you accidentally refresh the web page by dragging down on the screen, which resets the whole game state. Happened a couple times to me, so I switched to the cardboard pyramid tiles since.
This is a very good play though with good explanation of all the actions. However, I found some more mistakes: At 23'42" a klingon subtitle appears saying: "I should also move up 2 on the temple track." You used wrong terminology. There are only 3 temple tracks in the base game (blue, red, and green). The track you are referring to is called the pyramid track (because you contributed to building the Pyramid of the Sun), which you properly addressed when correcting your error at 31'55". And at 25'00" you refill the pyramid tiles, but you say temple tiles (see above). Both mistakes above are made often, but The Pyramid if the Sun wasn't a temple. At 38'06" Teotibot rolls a 4 and a 2. "7! Oh, construction!" And another wrong "temple track" subtitle at 47'59" At 49'00": "You lose 3 points for every worker you couldn't pay." Actually it is 3 points per COCOA you For each cocoa you are unwilling or unable to pay. At this moment you only have to pay 3 cocoa, since all your workers are power 3 or less. But if you have all 4 dice, all at power 4 or higher, and you don't have cocoa or you don't want to pay, you lose 24 points. At 51'40" In the second eclipse you get 3 points for being in the lead, and in the last eclipse you get only 2 points for being in the lead." Nope. You always gain 4 points for being in the led, no matter which eclipse. This 4 point gain is depicted at the right end of the pyramid track. The decreasing point value are the points you gain for each step you made on the pyramid track.

This was a very helpful video for playing it solo. The app simplifies it tremendously! Thanks Tom!
Tom, thanks for showing us the Full Stack Card Board Teobot app. I've tried it out and it really helps solo play.

Thank you for this. I don’t like using apps for my bots, so wanted to see the physical version
Thanks, hope it helped!
