  • I made a 3x1.5m tyvek tarp for ultralight backpacking. This video gives an overview of it and shows how to pitch solo flat tarps for specific conditions.

    Very interesting. How did you manage to get Tyvek without the massive writing on it? Or do you have a magic way of getting rid of that? Thanks in advance. Peter.

      The stuff I bought on Amazon didn't have the writing on it. I think the lighter tyveks like the 42gsm don't have the writing on it and have a textile feel rather than a papery one. I don't know if you can remove the writing.

    What tape did you use on the sides
