You say, "this plant can be used", but never mention which part of the plant. Is it the flowers, leaves, stalk, roots and which part for which ailment? Is it because the leaves, roots, seeds, etc. can be used interchangeably? I truly wish you would have specified, at least, a little bit.

This depends on the soil and the nearby plants. How many times I can't say for sure.
