Long ago when I believed my calling was structural engineering I first earned an associate's degree in Drafting and Design because I wanted to work with Engineers from the ground up. After working with them 10 years I found out that they were only fond of themselves. So I found a comparable salary with a simpler way of life in barge tankering. Lol I said all this to ask why does Sodium Sulfide (Spent Caustic) 9/10 contain h2s?

Is there another way where the liquid from the regenerator doesn't go straight to the reboiler and a tee to the heat exchanger and the reboiler is upstream of the pump?

You will adjust for the required value, it is used when you need to fix an input only

Well, you already stated, you are using water + CO2, but remember that CO2 binds to amine as well... meaning that you need both of them :)

yeah, technically speaking, but remmeber that unit operations within unit operaitons can be also assigned as "unit operations" for instance, reactors that require heating or cooling, will be seen as a "single" unit as well
