I remember when dudes came home from Jail back in the late 90’s early 2000’s talking about Shaquell out here in Jersey. Every single person who was behind that wall with him in NY who were from Jersey or moved to Jersey shortly after their release, idolized this dude. It’s almost as if he is a folk legend in the streets here. He came out here one day and the way them dudes were lined up to shake hands with him, or just get a dap; it was eerie as shit.

That’s a true statement. Since the beginning of time it’s always been about lineage, tribes, military groups etc. No matter what religious book or history book we read. Dudes went “hard for their set” 50 thousand years ago. Just wasn’t actually considered a set lol. Humans are tribal by nature. It's about time someone gave an educated comment.💯 I've been saying this for years,,especially when people make responses like,,'why join a gang(?)'. All I would say is, why join a company, group, organization, military, nation, etc... they're all the same. People coming together for a common purpose, agenda, goal, security, and power. This country was founded on gangs of men and women (colonies) all fighting for a common purpose. So I Salute your comment

@@757CitiesReppa there's nothing new or wrong with wanting to be apart of something....it's a natural thing. Now what can be questioned is the purpose and the agenda. Religious groups can fall into this category as well. The Crusades took the lives of thousands who would not submit to christianity. Also, the Islamic movement. These are FACTS. Now everyone wants to condemn gangs,,,but refuse to admit they're own faults and crimes as a government and nation. U.S. nearly wiped out the Native Americans....have ravaged the African continent and brought thousands of humans to be slaves. Isn't that human trafficking???? But you want to judge people for joining gangs in the u.s. smdh HYPOCRISY

When I tell you Quell’s name was one of the most spoken names back then it’s an understatement.
I’m a Bronx baby not a BK baby. In hindsight I realize some dudes were not even in tune with the bros behind the wall.
On my side of town dudes used Larry-O ‘s name like it was a damn password for nuclear assaults back in 08 all the way up til present day still Smfh. Savage Nomads, Savage Skulls, Ching A Lings, Dirty Ones, Righteous Hell, Hell Burners, La Familia, Crazy Homicides, and that’s just naming a few. That’s not counting the Black gangs like Tomahawks, Chaplains, Jolly Stompers, Black Spade, ect.. So, yeah, NYC was heavy into the gang culture from way back. Gang leaders need to invest in the talents of their members. Just like biker gangs....take the illegal money and open lil spots that the members can work using their skill. Then they start hiring other members. Send the youth to sports and academics camps in the summer so they dont become future members. Its really not that hard....people just like the outlaw life

I was with code red in Southport 1998 1999 and he was always a very militant and great leader for GKB Julius & sonny for those that don't know and call GKB G-shine under Powerful who to my eyes wasn't a real right think like quick...Soul B called him out to law library to go gun to gun and he never showed up sun down outta town don won dermarco God father flow ruff sex 013 and don't even know the response to: "who that nigga wit dat razor"!!! ? Red light green light!!! Bang! bang! bang!!! I used to love starting off roll call!!! 130 130 130....people just won't understand how real it was to be blood back then. Code red know, we stood together under the "U" (UBN) But I remember when smm pulled out the U back in early 2001 and went independent but came back to the U like in may the same year then officially did it again later on in 2004 and stayed independent but other sets started to follow the trends, which is one of the reasons why we are called trend setters, even mack balla brims copied us but later on changed it to just mack balla cause they so called weren't brims and got into major problems with lacey for that but many hoods tried to mimic us but fell short only comrade militant bloods were allies tank heads hood, my name is STONE SMM BLAZIN' BILLY & Coming up being a white blood in 1997 in the NY state penitentiary was not easy and was rarely heard of. There were only a few of us I can recall, but being white and being in the prisons I was in with the OGs that was there was the realest experience I ever had to face my whole life. My name is STONE S.M.M Sex-Money-Murder BLAZIN' BILLY. Came home July 8th 1997 in Comstock correctional facility also known as Great Meadows, went to coxsackie right after that and learned what gladiator school was Abt! It was 6 man cages and officers put enemies together in the same cage on purpose and took bets on who was gonna come out on top or lose the fight. I was crafty so I made everyone of my homies sharp razors out of can tops and picks out of fiber glass. I had to put in extra work to get noticed being that I was white so I cut and stabbed a lot of enemies and even knocked out a correctional officer in wende another maximum security prison I been in Auburn 2 times Attica 2 times sing sing 3 times and Elmira. I was also in Southport box and shu 500 boxes that were connected to medium prisons like Collins box Orleans box Lakeview box and Cayuga box, all for putting in work! I never went to the box for a dirty urine or anything stupid or dumb. And I did my box time and got out didn't play the PC (protected custody) role that some fake homies did to stay out of general population cause of beef they had. I wrote strategies for my hood always taught homies the right way to bang I even held down a whole prison for my set in 2009 2010 in sing sing. I got my weight by then cause of all the work I put in in the late 90s and early mid 2000s...the first and some of my 2nd generation of Bloods in rikers island and Up North will never be again. It was different back then I became blood during war! I literally had to pop off in every prison I went to and never disappointed I saved various homies lives like Apache the stoney Smurf mad dog I think it's been awhile G Yella to name a few but over all I'm living proof that being a white blood and getting true respect from official Original Gangsters is possible and those that know me could vouch for that 100 percent facts! There should be a Movie Abt me on how did an Italian blood become the first white blood claiming sex money murder and holding it down and never letting my name become blemished by dishonoring my hood and representing my banner to the fullest never changed my set for a position & stood SMM for over 25 years. I'm in the books for real it's time for my story to be heard!!!! blatttttttt
