for anyone who wants to use on two different devices:
to pair with the logi bolt, just press the button until it starts blinking rapidly, then press and hold the button until it goes solid.
for bluetooth pairing, just press and hold and then connect. if it doesn't show up, try forgetting the device. you need to pair it every time, which may lead to a comedically long list of logi m650s on your "remembered devices" page. but just use the logi bolt it's so much easier

THANKS ur a heroooo, i wanted to use my mouse on movile and pc (that does not hace bluetooth)
And what to do if nothing of these methods work? I can't see my mouse in the list of Bluetooth devices when pairing mode seems to be enabled (indicator blinking rapidly).
For people who want to switch to the Logi Bolt Recevier from Bluetooth. Just turn off Bluetooth, connect the Logi Bolt Receiver and go into Logi Options+ to connect it from there.

By far stupidest way to install ever... I pulled tab first and threw it away... Then plugged in... So it didn't work... I had to go dig in the trash, put the tab back and follow the instructions to make it work after several tries...
Why wouldn't that be the first thing people remove???
I have 2 PCs. I wanted to share one mouse between them (not at the same time of course). So I have paired it via BT on one PC and via Bolt on second PC. But it is not so sweet unfortunately. I have to press this pairing button every time I switch PC as it seems it wants to connect using last active method. How hard can it be to connect to whatever is active at the moment: BT or Bolt ?

If connecting with the Logi Bolt Recevier doesn't work for you, try to hold the button on the bottom of the mouse. It worked for me.

The dual mod limitation is pointless. Logitech as always tricky. Just make a bigger normal MX Anywhere mouse with multiple device support pls.
Thank you for your effort, But no one asked the question that really needs to be asked!?→ Now, it has a USB receiver and can be connected via Bluetooth. When we connect it to two different devices, one via USB and the other via BT, can we switch between the two with a single click? If you haven't tried it, can you try it? . Thanks

Good question. I cant't switch between a Mac with bluetooth pairing and PC with Logi bolt usb connected.

You can't. I think it's Bolt USB limitation. I am trying to look for a new mouse that works with desktop and MacBook, but Bolt is not a good option, even though I liked M650. I think I have to look for another mouse like M590 Silent or M720 :(
I was confussed too. But the solution is: turn off the bluetooth on your PC/laptop and turn off the mouse (you should see a red mark under toggle button), connect Bolt receiver into USB, turn on the mouse and then hold the round button on the bottom of the mouse. When light stop flicker it will connected via USB.

Me too, when you switch Bolt to Bluetooth, it need pair again! Finally I change my old G603's buttons to a slient type.

this mouse time by time startubf lags :( until turn off ant then turn on. It like bug on this mouse :( Not recoment only for this reason

just realized that i cant use this mouse with my pc cause i dont have bluetooth, whats the use of the dongle then
This mouse does not require Bluetooth, this is simply an alternative connection option so you know this device can be used with devices that allow Bluetooth mouse connection. If you do not have Bluetooth, you can simply plugin the Logi Bolt dongle and connect via that. The instructions for that are also located in this video.
