Idea for Ultimate Spin Stealing Beyblade 2.0. There's printable gears that have two states depending on RPM. Give the top a high moment of inertia at the point of launch, then have the gear disengage from the spin stealing outer ring so it can steel more from the opponent while coasting off the stored rotational energy pre mode shift.

Real OGs still know the Blade „dark wolfe“. It had a Metal Frame.. we played every day in school and i won a lot. One day my father filled up the whole Frame with lead. My Blade now was three times as Heavy as normal and just ripped the shit Out of the others. Ones he destroyed the plastic Frame from pegasus

That said, If I had a custom blade I'd want it to be dual spin with the gimmick that the rubber contact points are only accessable, somehow, when spinning left. Right-spin? Metal contact. Left spin has rubber, somehow and I'm not smart enough to design something that can pull it off.

Technically the "issue" with less spin being stolen is wrong. While you are stealing less spin so your beyblade is spinning slower, you are still gaining the same amount of rotational inertia. In fact, this works more in your favor because the spin speed equalises, not the rotational intertia. So near the end, both beys have roughly the same speed but yours has a higher rotational intertia. Btw I'm just nerding out, love your videos.

That's what I thought too. More inertia at lower speeds is kinda the only way to reliably win when the design makes you equalize speed.

When I was a kid I took the bottom plastic rubber piece from the L-drago destructor the top rubber plastic piece from meteo L drago and then put the bearing tip from phantom Orion on it and if it didn't get knocked out it would literally stop spinning while standing and spun for a extra 5+ full rotations after any bey stopped it was awesome

I honestly think the supersized bey would be a bit overkill for obvious reasons but it’d still be interesting to see it up against all the customs as a bonus thing.
I appreciate that ever since L Drago in the metal series, it seems like every left spinning/spin stealing beyblade is ALWAYS some sort of dragon.
I have never played bayblade but i know about engineering though.
you can add springs and balls, when it spins fast the balls will be in the outside, and when it slows down the springs will will help push the balls to the center making it maintain its speed more, it would be even better if u manage to make the rubber move with the balls inward, reducing rubber contact in the late game

@patata3219 ahhh good to know, otherwise i would be disappointed if none thought of this before me as it is so obvious that it will enhance performance greatly. I have few other ideas but I am sure they have some rules to restrict the freedom of making designs.

But I'd alter the amount of rubber to make it less op but still good at spin stealing while keeping the appearance & weight distribution of the Beyblade (replace the rubber towards the front edge of the dragon heads with metal while keeping the main rubber section and reducing it's surface area slightly)
Then I'd use the new 4-50 rachet from shark scale & Cyclone to create a spin stealing counter punch combo

The physics of beyblades are pretty cool
The size is similar to regular beyblades, but it's still going to be considerably heavier if you print it out of stainless steel. Beyblades are made of a zinc-aluminium alloy that is less dense than stainless steel, so you're kind of still weight bullying official beyblades. But whatever, it's just for fun and the design is awesome
