When Jeff is talking about doing "spin" shots. He said to get to 1/4 of a second he's in aperature priority. I think he meant Shutter priority to control the shutter speed.

Jeff, I believe you said you use the remote light in TTL, correct? Also, where do you put it and how do you secure it? Are they close to the dance floor or are they in a corner? Thank you for the wealth of info you provide. It is invaluable!
Repeated testing from multiple separate sources have shown that even placing extremely large neodymium magnets (industrial versions that would not often be found in a regular home) placed directly against the discs of the hard drive (tested both while running and when the drive was inoperable), files on the drive were 100-percent intact. This was tested with drives inside computers, laptops, and with external hard drives. This is not to say a extremely strong magnet will not cause physical damage by bending internal components, but this would not be done by a magnet found around the house such as a refrigerator magnet, or by weak refrigerator magnets. Also, SSDs are not influenced by magnets as they do not have any moving parts and do not rely on magnetic fields to store data. Magnets inside devices such as a card reader would fall into the weaker category and would not cause damage to a hard drive. However, for your peace of mind, I would recommend you can simply position the magnetic card reader on the opposite side of the hard drive.
@@BandH thank you, that is interesting to read! I guess the bigger danger would be stroking a magnet near a hard drive, causing it to corrupt the data by reversing the magnetic fields?
