The same melody is also used in the Croatian folk song "Lepa Anka kolo vodi". Really nice to find such cases!

Thanks for the comment! :D I'm so fascinated by slavic cultures. By now I have just taken a "deeper dive" into Czech(especially Moravian), Slovak, Ukrainian, Russian and Rusyn culture. A bit of Polish. But especially Moravian and Slovak, which also lead me to take Hungarian and Romanian into closer focus. There are so many beautiful songs with influences from so many countries and cultures and I'm still trying to learn about it, which is hard without having anyone to ask. For example the verbunk song "Dalmacia", it's Czech but Dalmacia is a region in Kroatia, isn't it? So I've always wondered how Czechs came to make a song about that/mention that... I just love to learn about all the connections, influences, differences, everything. Do you know anything about it? :) Much love from Germany!

Wow, this is wonderful! Beautiful song and voices, beautifully played - especially those sharp violins and the cimbal! I can't stop hitting repeat :D What region are the costumes and the song from? Love from Germany
