I visited in the month of December 2023 and this ambition automatic variant with BH series registration was costing 15.2 lakhs onroad after all discounts excluding any exchange value. Similar for Taigun also.. Just for your information nothing negative. I bought other car for my reasons but that was a great deal at 15.2 lacs onroad that too for automatic 😊
Story of mine: Bank Balance: 4.5 cr approximately Car purchased: Skoda Slavia style 1 ltr manual (in cash). Not went for fortuner / Same sagement cars. Tension free.. drive smoothly. No loan. No pressure 😊 Not showing off..just calculation of headache free life 😊
Genuinely good perspective 👍 It is important that we make well-informed purchases, and basis the need 🙂 I have been going crazy over Kushaq-Taigun ever since these have gotten launched, but whenever I give the urge to purchase a rational thought, I feel the cost of owning a new car today (& considering the fuel prices today) is extremely high. I own a 2013 i20 sports which has run 2 lakhs plus kms and still is in quite a decent condition. Automatic AC, cooled glove box, rear-view camera, 60:40 rear-seats split, steering controls with Bluetooth calling, rain sensing wipers are features which it has, as stock. It cost me 6.80 lacs back then. Gives me a mileage ranging between 11 & 14 kmpl (depending upon city or highway) No wonder, I am trying to extract as much value as I can, out of it. I know I wrote a lot, but I hope my share could benefit someone.
Skoda is a Czech and not a German car, earlier it was Czechoslovakia but now they are two separate countries (Czech and slovakia) and that's why perhaps they have brought model named " slavia"😊
Yearly insurance of around 35000. Tyres of around 30000 after every 50000km If you are bad driver then cost of break pads and clucth plate. Fastag payments on every toll. These are other expenses which. Also car is a depriciating asset its value does down every year. If you calculate all thing then cost of keeping a car is very high.
I have a Taigun GT PLUS 1.5 DSG and my daily running is approx. 100kms for 3 days a week and weekend drives totaling upto 1800-1900 kms per month at a minimum. My car is giving me a mileage of around 18-18.5 kmpl. You have to learn how to drive the car within city limits to gain maximum mileage. I differ around EMI as monthly expense as you dont pay anything upfront. You could have said the total cost of ownership per month. I am not sure why there was a need to change engine oil at 7500 kms as the oil change is at 15000.
Yes brother, over time you learn how get maximum milage from these cars, you are getting a really good milage, congratulations for that. For EMI as monthly part, i have taken it as monthly expense because most ppl purchase car on EMI & it is now there their monthly expense. Engine Oil changes at 15k in these vehicles and I feel that there is need for top at approx 7-8K, when i went there for Top-Up, my engine oil was already short by 1 Ltrs, baaki toh bhai sabki apni marzi hai ki top up karwana hai yaa nhi 😊👍

Milage in city is around 13kms per liter and in highways it'll give you around 16 , if your priority is safe car with very good driving dynamics , a powerful engine with no match at this segment and a very quick Automatic Gearbox (probably the best one) , you should go for Slavia. PS - It will not give you resale value
If you will shift from diesal to petrol you will get a shock initially 😂. I have shifted from fludic verna 1.6 to Taigun 1.0MT. My running is mostly on highways 80% on highways. I am getting 15.5kmpl from taigun measured tank to tank for 30000kms, which is not bad as compared to petrol cars. But my verna diesal was much more efficient. I used to get 18-20kmpl easily with the same driving style.
@@rajandeepsinghbhullar4894 i am shifted from TUV 1.5 250 nq torque to Astor... i am in shock with mileage as well as power... cant match a Diesel power with petrol... an EV can only match that thrust
@RanasSpace actually it also depends on out driving habits. Diesal cars have high torque at low rpms so we get used to drive those at low rpm. But turbo petrol cars runs better on slightly higher rpms. Try shifting gears at higher rpms you will not feel major power lag. TSI 1.0 is very nice and Rev friendly engine. It is just diesal and petrol drive differently
Is it 1.0 or 1.5 at or manual? Can you clear my one doubt regarding inferior back seat ac performance. Is it that bad? And does it feel comfortable for 3 medium health ppl at back seat?
Hello Brother , it is 1.0 AT (Torque Converter), AC performance at back seat is decent. Rear is only comfortable for two adults brother , for three it is very uncomfortable. I hope I have cleared your doubts brother 😊
