I feel like if the Panthers lose game 7, you'll have to look at what happened to the Atlanta Falcons after 2017. They spiraled into irrelevance and players that were heros of the team were tainted and eventually left. They have multiple key free agents they're set to lose, and if they have a choker label around them it may scare off replacement depth that they will desperately need.
Definitely could see that, this Panthers team isn't old by any means but back to back cup finals appearances are so rare wouldn't be shocked if they never make it back.
If the Panthers don’t win now they might only have one chance left down the line with this core. The mileage of playing 206 games across 2 seasons will start to hit like their neighbors to the west.
It would definitely be way more painful for the Panthers. It would be like coming to the dance 3 times and coming home empty-handed. Especially 3-0 is like a 99.9999% in the bag but now 3-3... 50/50 for both of the teams.
Yeah if this comeback happens it will be up there with Lebron leading Cleveland back from 3-1 and Brady coming back 28-3. It might even be more impressive arguably.
Bro bruins fans are all collectively praying on the Panther’s downfall here. They need to no longer be the king of the choke. Also Mike you should make a video breaking the western and eastern conference teams’s cap situations. 😁
Crosby fan here. McDavid is amazing, he is why they are in a game 7. He will be the face of the league for the next decade regardless, and if he wins this one, it will be the first among many.
Only been a subscriber for 4 (MAYBE)5 months, but I tested a while agowhere I wanted Mr Bartner doing a video after the SC final on those big names that still haven´t won the SC. Something like that. I stand by that but also understand that I´ve been not a long sub. My hope is still on Florida.
@@MikeBartner Thank you, I will look but I can´t comment since I don´t have an insta account. Close to 1h now before the seventh game and, a bold guess, I think Florida jumps back and wins.
It pains me to say but I wouldn't be sad if Montour didn't stay and he was my favorite player in the 22/23 season. I think/ hope Ekblad gets moved regardless this off-season. Let him get s refresh send him to Utah or Chicago or something for a year and test free agency but he's gotta go
Tomorrow, will the Panthers win their 1st Stanley Cup in franchise history, or will the Oilers win their 1st Stanley Cup in 34 years after being down 0-3?
RNH locks up a jersey retirement probably, Hyman it's just funny bc the Leafs let him go and Ekholm he finally gets the world wide respect as the amazing two way guy he's been for the last decade.
@@MikeBartner Ekblad has been horrible this playoffs and has been mediocre his whole career. The fact that you said jersey retirement is mind blowing. dude is playing like a 40 year old at 28 years old. The GM is 100% trying to offload that horrendous contract if they lose the series. Mike you might be off your rocker here
It's awesome experiencing this series in real-time. It will be cool to look back at this in a few years.
Yep regardless of the outcome it has become an alltimer
I want to see McDavid win his first cup rather than the Panthers franchise winning its first cup
I would agree if not for one of my childhood heroes Kyle Okposo being on the Cats
Islanders legend
So the Panthers losing 2 cup finals in a row Edmonton reverse sweeping (first since 1942) edmonton coming from 31st to cup winner (if win)

But panthers rule
this is florida’s last good shot at the cup. they are playing for their franchise in game 7
I mean this core will be around for a while but I do agree it's their best shot and there's no guarantee they'll ever make another ECF let alone SCF
Panthers is good
Go IsLanders (Cause I know you are an Depressed IsLanders fan) and the Oilers!
Go Kyle Okposo

Oh for sure, would be a legendary chokejob
Panthers rule kinda
Some Flames fans won’t give Edmonton their due
HAHAAHAAH well of course but that's the beauty of a good rivalry
Panthers do rule
I'll be really happy for Henrique as a Devils fan, but Okposo winning would be awesome too, I just hope it's an exciting game 7

well-said ! I just found your page, liked n subscribed
Thanks happy you enjoy!

HAHAHAHAHAHAH yea people will quickly forget about the 2023 Bruins choke if the 2024 Panthers blow this.
I'm a Bruins fan and yeah you are so right
My two favourite teams are the oilers and bruins. The panthers are literally my least fav team, I am gonna be cheering double
@@lachlanpryznyk3327 Panthers are my 2nd least favorite team. I think you can guess who my least favorite team is
Sloppy gag job still with the bruins.

Considering his two Vezina’s were with the worst franchise in the league, Bob’s two Vezina’s should be considered four
McDavid should pretty much be a lock for the Conn Smythe
Agreed
I thought the bob pi. In the thumbnail was craig anderson and i laughed at the thought that CA41 isnt hof material
HAHAAHAHAHAAHAH
Connor’s gotta take it!

I've done an Instagram list recently on best active and all-time cupless players sir, @mbonhockey!

I'm a Bruins fan and I was already rooting for the Oilers but tomorrow I will be rooting for the Oilers so fucking hard for obvious reasons

I’m an Edmonton fan so I’m biased but I think McDavid wins the Conn Smythe win or loss
It’s almost inevitable
Lock tf in Florida
Yeah if panthers lose this they’ll be bad for next 10 years
Not bad but I can definitely see them never making it back as such a devastating loss.
Panthers do rule
Mcdavid is already a top 5 all time player
McDavid is top 5 already, I think he’ll be the 2nd best player behind Gretzky when his career is done
Until he wins a cup, he’s not considered top 10.
wat the sigma
Bros stealing The Hockeys Guys flow
I’m I’m thinking right here even if the panthers win the cup they will forever be hit with the fact that they still blew a 3-0 lead
Panthers do rule
They won’t be hit with that fact since it only matters that u win it
I'm a life-long Oilers fan, and I have to correct the stats....Calgary did win a Stanley Cup in 1989 against Montreal.
GO OILERS GO
Tomorrow, will the Panthers win their 1st Stanley Cup in franchise history, or will the Oilers win their 1st Stanley Cup in 34 years after being down 0-3?
Correct, as well as the individual effect it will have on the players named
Panthers are the best
Panthers is truly the best
im not complaining but you should have talked about hyman, nuge, and ekholm
RNH locks up a jersey retirement probably, Hyman it's just funny bc the Leafs let him go and Ekholm he finally gets the world wide respect as the amazing two way guy he's been for the last decade.

Lol. My mind immediately went to Jovanovski for some reason. He was a solid d man there.

Who ever wins game seven will win the Stanley cup
Thanks captain obvious
Haha, you got a chuckle out of me😅
Bouchard is definitely top 5 in the league
I still believe in the panthers. Expect the unexpected in sports. Everyone is celebrating the oilers winning the cup already. Not so fast
Rigged WWE hockey
Florida will win as they should have in game 4.
Why end it in 4 when we can make billions in seven games.
Why we have first game 7 in 5 years then?
