God I love this opening arc for Immortal Hulk. The twist at the end was chilling. Brian Banner is my favorite villain of the Hulk, a truly despicable man. And where the story goes from here is jaw dropping.
As a kid all I knew of the Hulk was that he was green, strong, and got stronger the angrier he got. So when I saw his comics, I passed over them assuming that that was all they were. It really is amazing what some talented and inspired writers managed to get out of the character.
What's crazy for me, as a non-ComicBook-reader, is that you could have read every single Hulk comic and still *not know that he died* because it happened in a different series. How are people supposed to stay up to date with their favourite characters like that?
In the old days you'd usually get a forward page that explains things like that or a caption box that saws at least what comic it happened in. I'm not sure if they still do that, especially with how event happy Marvel and DC can be these days.
So a Superhero thought, "I'm stronger than Banner and lack the mental issues, SO I CAN OUT HULK THE HULK" basically? Bold strategy that clearly didn't work out
IF you like Immortal Hulk and are wanting more insane Al Ewing horror shenanigans (with a lot more comedy) I HIGHLY recommend Zombo from 2000AD. Very funny read about a super polite zombie who gets roped into missions he is absolutely 100% COMPLETELY unqualified for and it is very very funny and also very VERY weird.
I find it fitting that this series is a return to the old 'drifter on the road' story vehicle, as he's on the highway to hell.

You know... they call the Savage Hulk savage, but MAN does The Immortal Hulk get absolutely BRUTAL with his punishments.
Immortal hulk was really awesome series and amazing in my opinion

FINALLY BRO! i been waiting forever! Thank you! I so want to see you cover all of the Immortal Hulk run!
"...showing Wonder Man at his best."
You can't set the bar higher than that!
And now the wait begins again
"Find Jailbait tied to a chair"
And then Chris Hansen walks in...
God! The best Hulk run I've read since the planet and War era's.
YES! I've been WAITING for this series.
I gotta read this book.
Phenomenal book

You don't. You just take it in stride when you pick up a new book.

Hot Shot should've known better than to take a girl named "Jailbait" to a priest.
Regarding Brian Banner, I can't until the hulk retrospectives discuss "Grave Matters"

Hulk have issue's. Lots, and LOTS of issues. And Hulk not talking about comic books.
I think you meant "the Yabunonaka approach"😉

And why would you think Canada wouldn't have a space station?
Can you do a video on the gargoyles comic books that are cannons to the animated series.
