No worries. There were 41 comments before I became #42. The video is 6 years old but oddly, all the comments are from the past 3 months. Also, there are videos of Hawking I see on the sidebar of this video. They seem to definitely be pre typed, almost like he was given his questions in advanced so that he wouldn’t have to type the replies up. But there is always the possibility of it being typed by a different party.
No, they just edit it. Every interview he’s given is like this. He takes a long time to type, so if they played it uncut, they interview would have long moments of silence
