I know this isn't the same as having basegame stuff, but you can super easily get mods if your computer is up to it. There's one I have where it turns the cat into Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service.
Like @@herecomestheboy said it’s easy to mod this in… I personally would recommend Elle’s animals by JunimoB or Siamece’s Pet Facelift mod for black cats specifically.

I feel like one small detail that would be fun is adding your own birthday to the year. Then you could have a random chance of receiving gifts from NPCs with friendship levels and maybe even a guaranteed great luck day.

I know right?? I admire the integrity and humility of his way of handling it all so much. He supports the modding community that has grown around Stardew too from what I remember. He’s really an example of a video game creator/developer doing it right and deserves every bit of the success Stardew Valley has achieved.
I’m glad people outside of the Markiplier community also joke about his “big chest” (we do it pretty often within the community too)

YES!! That's the only reason I don't like having kids, because they stay toddlers forever and don't do anything lol. It would be cool for them to become at least Jas and Vincent's age and see them walking around town with Penny every once in while. Maybe see them curiously walk around the farm checking things out and playing instead of being constrained to naruto-run around the house for eternity lmao.
If this isn’t in 1.6, I hope for 1.7 to be focused on making the remaining guys and girls bachelors and bachelorettes he made into a poll awhile ago and the above statement.

Money tip for the blessing of waters: use challenge bait at the volcano caldera, lava eel are the only fish that can be caught there and you will get 9 eels in total. Then smoke them all for an easy 20k

Here's a pro tip. If you take an empty big chest and place it down on top of a full smaller chest, ALL THE CONTENTS OF THE CHEST TRANSFER TO THE BIG CHEST.
Falin has affinity for ghost magic, she can see ghosts like in the flashback on previous episode where she heard the ghost talk about wanting to remove the curseld elven ring

Always felt weird to me that we couldn't do much with our pets , we should have the ability to buy / make a dog house or cat friendly building , feed the pets , be able to pick them up & move them , etc. ( if this ends up in the wrong thread because of YT being weird again , I'm just rambling about pet things in Star Dew Valley , apologies if this is in wrong place )

i just unlocked ginger island today, have 70 golden walnuts, and i’ve completed the hut 😭 i got so lucky but i have decent luck with that rabbits foot im guessing. i also sold 5 of the fossils, right when i got to the island because i didnt have space ☝🏼💩
