Fun fact about wii-wii-woo: Around the fall of last year, Suisei took an extended break from streaming for a while to have throat surgery as she had a medical issue that was starting to really hinder her ability to sing as well as she normally does. About a month after the surgery, she does an "I'm back!" 3D live concert and drops this absolute banger of a song as well as the announcement of her second album release (just released yesterday)... a month after having vocal surgery. Suisei is an absolute rockstar!
Glad you guys are enjoying Suisei's music, she's such a great artist and Hololive is chock full of other phenomenal vocalists as well! As some others here have said, you should absolutely check out Tokoyami Towa who is another fantastic singer but with a completely distinctive voice from Suisei's. If you want something a bit closer to metal, check out her song "My Roar" (マイロア) or "FACT" which is a little closer to pop but still has a good rock feel to it, and then of course her signature song, "Palette", which is more of a ballad and she really goes all out on it because it's her story of getting started in Hololive much like Stellar Stellar was Suisei's story of how she started. Other Hololive artists to check out: Ayunda Risu ("ALICE&u"), Moona Hoshinova from Hololive Indonesia ("High Tide" and a cover of LISA and Uru's "Saikai" she did with Suisei), and Calliope Mori from Hololive English (she's got several albums to her name, but I think a good starting point is "The Grim Reaper is a Live Streamer", a classic of hers).
If you want Rock, you might try Tokoyami Towa's "My Roar." If you want some real soft Bossa Nova, you might try Ceres Fauna's "Let Me Stay Here." In between those two could be either Moona Hoshinova's "High Tide," or Ayunda Risu's "ALiCE&U."
I appreciate the recommendations! Thanks
@@BestFriendsReact It'll just give you some samples from a few of the genres they touch on, from hard to soft.
@@BestFriendsReact I'd recommend Towa's entire "Scream" EP in general!
@@BestFriendsReact If you really liked rock I recommend Kagami Hayato Pierce and Within.
I agree with a previous reply here. The whole Scream EP by Tokoyami Towa is banger.
wii wii woo is my favorite from her new album, but it's all really good. ghost is probably my favorite from her overall. strong message about how vtubers often get overlooked as serious artists, so always so happy to have new eyes on the girls' work.
if you want a little direction, watame's my song is great and a super amazing mv... mayday, mayday is also a banger. besides that i'd check out towa and okayu.
I’m glad you’re liking Suisei’s music. It’s always a treat seeing people react to the talents at Hololive. They actually inspired me to start learning Japanese.
i recommend the songs
"ALice&u" by Ayunda Risu
and
"High Tide" by Moona Hoshinova
2 really awesome songs of 2 hololive Indonesia branch girls, which you really should check out as well
I have them on my list, I'm excited to check them out 🤔
Pronunciation tip:
Hoe-she-mah-chee Swee-say
Japanese is a fairly easy language to pronounce, so I'll cover some of the basics. Vowels in Japanese:
A - somewhere between the A in "father" and "Apple".
E - like the E in "set".
U - like the OO in "soon".
I - like the EE in "sweet".
O - like the O in "open".
Double vowels: the vowel length is extended, but otherwise there's no change to the sound itself. "Ou" and "OO" are pronounced exactly the same.
Other cases of 2 vowels together are literally just "pronounce them separately". For example "ei" is just the E from set followed by "ee" from sweet, which ends up sounding like "ay" from "day" when spoken quickly.
Vtubers are such like "virtual" and "Ghost". They don't show there real face, they are doing something new for the world.
But there are not everyone can accept their hard-working. There are many teasers tease on them.
If they don't have their own fans, they were not being known by anyone, they would be playing or singing with themself alone, and fade some day.
So, she called out, "Is there anyone see me?" in the song "GHOST".
Glad to see you ended up check out the two of these together, especially since they're also really different! Spectre turned out to be a fantastic album so definitely recommending looking at that sometime.
If you're branching out and checking out more Hololive members, I'd recommend Watame's "My Song" and "Everlasting Soul" for some more very divergent sounds. All her original songs do have English subtitles, so it makes it easier. After Watame, Okayu has a fantastic voice - dokuhai swallow is one of my favorites from her.
Loving these reactions, keep them coming.
Since you checked out GHOST, you'll want to pair it with The Story of Hoshimachi Suisei (the 27 minutes one). It adds more depth and context to GHOST.
can i have a link for it?

@@2710cruiser i finally watch it and im crying rn, Sui-chan hit very diffirent now
Wii Wii woo is just pure FIRE. Suisei and everyone one in it just went absolute ham and I love it for that. 🔥
this something I like these songs they also give person time to shine the drums guitar and so on also the video. these song are made from the hard work of many. the girls are always part of the writing process to make sure the song connects with everyone. if they were just handed a song to sing, it would not hit you like it does.
Nice to see my suggestion made it. I'll second the suggestions that you've already gotten to check out Tokoyami Towa's music. She's got a great voice. I have to laugh though because no one is going to suggest the number one most viewed Hololive original music video. Stellar Stellar is number two as of the time I write this comment. That might change since she's getting a boost these days from her First Take appearance.
only found this cause i searched up suisei reaction even tho I'm subbed with the bell clicked, typical youtube
Another song you could try with more Metal style you could try Raven's Paradigm by Banzoin Hakka. He's from the Male branch of Hololive productions. And he recently debuted and this was his debut song. Been loving the reactions so far in this rabbit hole.
Midnight Grand Orchestra, a musical unit consisting of Suisei and Taku Inoue (composer of Stellar Stellar),
is also interesting, so if you are interested, give them a listen!
Midnight Grand Orchestra 1st LIVE『Overture』【冒頭無料配信】
I highly recommend the live video of these two songs, which is interesting from a technical and visual standpoint!
Suiseiと、Taku Inoue(Stellar Stellarの作曲者)による音楽ユニット「Midnight Grand Orchestra」も
面白いので興味があったら聴いてみて下さい!
Midnight Grand Orchestra 1st LIVE『Overture』【冒頭無料配信】
この2曲聴けるライブ映像が映像技術的にも興味深い内容になっててオススメです!
Exciting indeed.
Welcome to Hololive. Towa and Moona have some great songs as others have said.
As a long time hololive fan its so fun to watch people who know nothing about Vtubers discover and enjoy the content they make! i also like that they kept an open mind when going into it. A lot of people I know, once you tell them what a Vtuber is and explain it to them they just shut it down instantly and refuse to give it a chance because its "cringe" Great videos you guys! I hope you continue down this rabbit hole
If you need caption for these two music video
I put the two video link with subtitles 👇

Sorry my English is not very well and is not my native language 😅
i recommend [No breath for 21 seconds]"Unravel" - Amane Kanata 3DLive "Another world" [Hololive] " [21秒ロングトーン] unravel - 天音かなた 3DLIVE "別世界" [Hololive] "
I rewatched it multiples times because her voice is just so good.
This is a little unrelated, but have you ever listened to any Utsu-P? He’s a Japanese Vocaloid producer who makes metal.
oh and now im seeing you did gura to! man yt is so annoying I cant be checking every channel I watch to make sure I'm not missing stuff just give me notifications damn it
Some other Songs to check out from Hololive talents are Watame - My Song, Moona - High Tide, and Towa - Palette. All three songs also have English subtitles and High Tide is also sung in English.
They variety of different songs along with different talents' styles really gives a lot choose from. A lot of heart fealt songs but you also got crazy fun songs.
dont forget the Alice%U. the best one there is
So true, so many great songs out there.
I don't see anyone recommending it so if you like rock you'll probably enjoy HERE COMES HOPE from IRYS. Also can't recommend Watame Tsunomaki enough. Specially, My Song and Everlasting Soul.
If we're recommending Irys, I also suggest her song Berserker.
always love seeing people fall deeper and deeper in the hololive rabbit hole
thanks Suisei :D
Is it time to declare that they are already one of us?
maybe you guys might also like these other songs from Suisei
Tenkyuu ruclips.net/video/zLak0dxBKpM/видео.html
Kakero ruclips.net/video/IqT6cHCT1TE/видео.html
i would really hope that you guys would react to suisei recently released single `Pathfinder' for about 2 days now, a song that is once again really different and may take yall for a ride.
Thinking you guys might like My Roar by Tokoyami Towa
I feel like you'd like the songs IRyS puts out as well. Caesura of Despair for example is amazing.
Please check out Virtual Witch Phenomenon!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
While you're reacting on Suisei and on this two songs, which are part of her new album specter, I recommend you to react to the rest of the songs in the album which are great 👍. It's free to play on Spotify or RUclips music. Oh and it charted in iTunes 3rd worldwide and Japan 1st.
I feel it's better to get to know one artist more first before moving on to new recommendations others are giving. Oh and the recommendations are great, they cover so much ground it's insane lol
I think diving into 1 artist works for some, but I get burnt out really quick if I overdue things, plus we like to keep some variety on the channel. Especially when I find something new, I kinda have to skim over it all then go back to the ones I like.
I appreciate the comment and suggestion on improvement. I take comments like this seriously and sincerely consider all criticism
@@BestFriendsReact Really appreciate the reply! Totally get it, so it seems that you guys are the type to see what's there to offer before delving into something deeper and I think that's cool too!
Also there's no need to overdo it on the reactions when you get burnout or something, as I think me as well as many others prefer you to enjoy your time 😊
P.S. there's like really really lots of ground to cover so if you like variety then I think you'll have a blast !
next high tide from moona hoshinova : ruclips.net/video/stmZAThUl64/видео.html
Sue-ee-say 👍
you should react to anything from Calliope Mori, you will be pretty surprised :)
badass eyes, goddess
If your looking for something rather different and still a banger, try Gawr Guras "Reflect". She's the most subbed vtuber in the world.
we just did, that video should be ready and uploaded soon.. you are right, it is a banger
@Best Friends React As gura is my oshi (meaning the one I support the most) that makes me happy and I can't wait to see your vid.
Might I then suggest, assuming you didn't do them at the same time) check out Guras duet original [Q] or cover if King. Both are with her friend Calliope Mori, who is a vtuber rapper.
Awesome, I added them to my list! Thanks
@Best Friends React Your more than welcome. As for Calli, she is an English rapper with Japanese infusions. She does all kinds of styles of rap and a bit of rock and pop. Callie has done a fair few collab songs with alot of other hololive members so that's an easy way to get a sample of some of the other talents.
"Chop suey", take the "suey" and say "say". Put that together and it's "Suisei".
"Shoo-e-say" something like that 😅🤭
It's not shoo, it's Sue-ii-say.
I hope you react to Houshou Marine, Treasure Box, it's different but hopefully you react to it..
I plan on it, it's on my list. I'll try to make it sooner than later!
bit of advice hololive reactions should have hololive in the title much better for new people to find the videos its much easier to search up hololive reaction than just every vtuber in holo individually
Boost this comment. Using "HoloLive" and the talent's name helps in search.
@@umbraemilitos yeah i dont know why more people don't realize this new holo reactors can be excused but I see veteran holo reactors not do this either how do they not think of it I know I've missed so many reactions because people dont put hololive in the title
try pronouncing it as "sue-e-say"
Try Calliope Mori. May be more to your tastes based on your channel. Or Demondice.
Please consider...HoloLive is an "idol" promoter and agent. The company's whole goal is putting their talent on a stage (in 3d avatars) in front of an audience for live performance. And they are covering over 70 artists for you to choose from. Some more prolific than others.
Suisei (sue-ee-say) is by far, one of the more professional of the group. Kanata, Towa, Moona, Calli, Risu, Marine, IRyS, Azki...They are each worth a listen.
And that is just HoloLive. There are dozens of worthy singers in the vtuber/vsinger community worth a listen.
Good luck with this rabbit hole.
