You're right: It's funny how all cover musicians reproduce mistakes (even realizing they are mistakes). And not only on this song. It is in every songs.
I, for better or worse, (and being a guitar and bass teacher), strictly prohibit my students from reproducing mistakes (unless the original musician also reproduces them live).
But you know: A mistake in a not-known musician is a mistake. The same mistake in a prestigious musician would be technique.

Can we just talk about how CS has taken tabs, a medium most musicians scoff at (for good reason) and put it between bars with accents and propper marks to actually make it usable. Tabs lose so much of the rhythm and how the song goes beyond the notes, but CS has hammer ons, slide, dead notes, rests. Its truly genius, and now you can reach everyone.

MUCHAS GRACIAS. BUEN TRABAJO.

Thanks for your masterclass. So educational. Im wondering if you can play: İnce İnce Bir Kar Yağar from Selda Bağcan. This song has a killer bass line, too difficult to me.

For those trying to compress this in their head a little, the original groove in the verses starts blending with the chorus groove more and more, around 2:00.

I dont know why, but the timing is so hard to get right with this song. The patterns and finger positions aren't difficult, it's just playing the notes at the right time that I'm struggling with

@@redheadedstepchild2240 Try listening along to the bass and kind of humming or mouthing the note lengths and pocket timing. It can get easier when you are using speech kind of. A song that is a little easier than this is Such A Woman by the Commodores. It will lead up to September.

Great song, great playing, great tabs! My problem is that I can play along fine to most stuff when I have the tabs in front of me but I just can't remember riffs without it >_

After playing a lot, your memory will increase and you will remember and even improvise over the riff, i think that's even better

Consistent practice and dedication man...ya know how people say "he/she is naturally talented" playing certain instruments. It's not that at all... it's like I said dedication, passion, and practice!
