Full detailed step-by-step guide to making the Tobey Maguire Spiderman Costume Mask. I spent months gathering all the footage and put it all together in a 10 minute fast forward video. All secrets that took me 14 years to develop are revealed.

The original spider-man movie head buck in the beginning of the video is 3D scanned, then the shape is duplicated in the form of a face shell design.
The spiderman fabric is printed digitally and the colors are enriched after with fabric dye. The webs are CNC milled and casted from urethane. The sides of the spiderman webs are painted by hand to create a 3D raised webbing effect. The webs are glued onto the fabric using Loctite 4861, which is a flexible super glue.

Interesting to see if this could be made as a type of helmet. I know that shell is very slim, but it could make so much sense if Spider-Man actually had a helmet like this to protect him from head injuries. Nonetheless a great video, very satisfying
He has super durability... Like, can take a grenade to the face, get stabbed and survive type durability. He doesn't need protective bulky gear that would get in the way of being swift and agile.

To this day I still love the Raimi suit, it's so cool to see people make replicas of it. Props to the talented people who originally made those costumes for the films, and power to the people dedicated enough to try to make it for themselves!

They actually don't destroy the costume. They have several replicas that they have their actor change into as needed, scene-by-scene that makes it look like it was destroyed.
