Looks like a cool little trail, I've been meaning to do something similar myself at Wilbinga for a weekend trip. Also, because of your low profile tyres (low profile is relative here) I highly recommend going down to 10-12psi, as long as you don't turn too sharp you probably wont de-bead but it makes a huge difference on real soft sand. I was at the Yeagerup dunes a couple weeks ago and some people had to go down to single digit air pressure.
Was good fun! I was around 14/15! But I probably should have gone lower part way into the track! I’ve driven with all terrains my whole life and this is my first set of muddies and I’m quickly realising how bad they are for sand
@@DarrenBoxhall yeh I was at 15, but I’ve got soooo much camping stuff weighing the back down/making me not want to go much faster and break anything! I’ll be going for round 2 after I strip the camping setup off!
Buddy. Tyre pressure too hard for that kind of sand. Here in middle east, we are at 13 to 15 PSI tyre presure climbing sand dunes. try it, you'll notice difference. you need momentum too.
Ay @CoreyKirwen maybe go as low as 10-12psi you need to find the sweet spot for sand. Once you get it right will give you more confidence and stability!
Must say those little diesels really do struggle on sand. Cand hear them bogging down in higher rpms. My 4l petrol loves to get up and go. But obviously ive got less torque
Used to go out there all the time. Too many FWD f$ckwitts now days. Clowns taking crests and blind corners flat out etc. Cool clip though mate, great area.

I drive these dunes nearly every weekend my man, 10-12 psi gets you everywhere with ease.
Straight to 10psi bro even with the weight in the rear. I used to go there in my jimny 5psi all round no worries. Never got bogged

Muddy work well in sand if your tyre pressure is low enough.
