When I was 18(1997-1998), I had a stroke caused by a brain tumor and had brain surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, I was doped up on pain medication a lot from surgery complications, laying in bed in my bedroom, and I played this soundtrack on repeat. Like a Pavlovian response, my mom breaks down crying when she hears this song, because it reminds her of that period in time.
this song is so beautiful, i grew up with edward scissorhands even though i wasn’t born until 2006, the beauty of the story is phenomenal i just wish that he got his happy ending :/
This piece of music wrecks me every time I hear it, but the rainfall on a dusky world and little Snoopy just letting go and allowing, broke me into tears! I cry as I write this. I petition the Universe that I never forget the beautiful things in this world!
