I have a 99 Celica Gt convertible mint.. Never seen a winter. Im doing all my brakes and black slotted rotors as i write this. Those are you're emergency brakes pads shown and meant to be thin because they aren't used much. Still have the pads that ride in the rotor like the front. A trick for stuck rotors without the pounding... With your caliper bracket STILL ON... Find a bolt(a little smaller than you're bracket bolt holes) and a nut.. put it through the hole and put one of the nuts on it and snug it up and keep ratcheting the stuck rotor. I've used this trick numerous times. 😊
