Young Mazino Wins Breakout in TV Award at the 21st Unforgettable Gala

Newcomer Young Mazino accepts the Breakout in TV Award presented by Co-star Joseph Lee and writer and director of Netflix’s “BEEF,” Sungjin Lee. Mazino got his start through short films and small roles in shows like “Blue Bloods”, “New Amsterdam”, and “Prodigal Son”. In 2023, Mazino starred in the rave-reviewed “BEEF” as Paul Cho, younger brother of lead Danny Cho (Steven Yeun). In this series about a road rage gone to the furthest extreme, Mazino anchors the outlandish plot with his performance as Paul, a young man who’s trying to keep moving forward even during the bleakest of times.

So proud of him despite not knowing him at all lol. It's really lovely to see people who've been quietly working for a long time finally get the recognition they deserve. I thought he did an incredible job and should’ve won the Emmy for it. I can’t wait to see him and other things because he is one hell of an actor. When you have to act with his costar, who is one of the best Asian actors or even any actor and was able to stand equal to him, that shows how good he was in beef.
