Had the honor of having Malcolm Smith come to one of our La Habra Dirt Riders meeting in the 70s at Takahashi Yamaha when I was a kid. There we watched On Any Sunday I believe and pics and autographs. He was a great inspiration to all of us. His store and shop is just 15-16 miles from La Habra now (MSR), Would love to go see the place i hear its awesome. Thanks for the memories Malcolm your one amazing Dude!
Malcom Smith has been riding for many years and has ridden with the best, the show on any sunday showed some real talent. I wish him the best and may he live forever if not in life, in our hearts and gas tanks, Ride on Malcom ride on
Malcom inspired me, at 12 I saw On any Sunday at the movie theatre. I convinced my Mom , if I could raise half the money from my paper route, would she pay the other half, she said yes , bought a SL70 honda. The rest was history. When I ride sometimes I can still hear that song, and remember Good Ol'e Malcom.. To a man who changed the industry and has inspired so many.
The Iron Man, Malcom Smith, died of Parkinson's Disease, and here in 2010 you can see his hand shaking, and he still went to do the Pikes Peak Race. Great Man. Doctor George Whitehead
This man is a true hero. Inspired more kids to ride than anyone will ever know... I being one of those kids.. what a great man!!
