Great presentation, great instrument. The first VCO is so cool, I need so many modules to make this today. Depending on the modules I have, I need two function/CV/inverter shifters, VCA, LFO, VCO, Wavefolder and an oscilloscope to get roughly a similar signal. Adjusting and tuning was always super difficult. The sequencer reminds me of 4ms Catalyst Sequencer, well not the exterior but the core functions, cool stuff. Once I have it, it takes a while to get going, then the fun begins. I look forward to your instruction videos. Good Job Pittsburgh Modular Team! Love it. Have fun at SB24. A little pro tip, to many beers and jetlag usually don't end favorably. 😛
This may be the most innovative and impressive synth of 2024. I think it's excellent work and I hope it will find its way to many homes. But that's not a lab coat :).
Dang! I just got a Taiga keyboard, and I love it. This has my G.A.S. turned up to eleven! 🙂 Edit: Though I love my Taiga keyboard, the VCA bleed drives me crazy. Please tell me this is not an issue with the VCA on the Voltage Lab 2.
Impressive. I'm so interested in tha character of the unique oscillators and the LPG. The maths style FG... BUT!.....The fact that it has no band pass or high pass filter, and instead has what appaears to be a basic and limitiing time based effects section is why I might not buy this synth. The whole point of the synth is to offer innovative sounds which it does, but I cant see how to cut any of the low frequencies without relying on an external filter. Is there a way to patch the synth to create a high or band pass-like outcome?
So the drums also made on it? I'm sure this might be explained later, but did they need to be synthesized from scratch or are there selectable drum-specific settings?
I've regretted a long time, that I didn't kickstarted the first version ;) Then I bought the Taiga last year. And now I am hungry for the Lab 2 ;)
Same! Love the Taiga. Must have this.
Richard and Michael and the Pittsburgh Modular team have created a truly awesome synthesizer. Like a compact synth battle station!
Soundtrack is beautiful.
I love your product videos. With your doctors coat😄
That isn't a demo, this is a presentation.
Pittsburgh modular is killing it. I have to get this

Your short films bring bonus inspiration to working with your instruments! 👍
Absolutely brilliant! What a beautiful synthesizer you guys have invented here . I’ll start saving up some money!
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Worth the wait? OH YES! Well done! This looks fun to play. Can't wait for the in-depth on the controller. Enjoy Berlin!
Of all the synths which have dropped in the last couple of days, this has gotta be the coolest! 😎
Using these shifting vcos as a audio rate fm gona sound amazing
Congratulations on a beautiful, cohesive instrument. I hipe you’ll consider selling the sequencer separately, as I’d take multiples!
You guys are my heroes. I knew you must be brewing something new...
Incredible work 👏
Touch controller 2 is incredible! Great vid!
This is a thing of beauty.
Love ya Pittsburgh Modular! Great job!
Love you guys! Pure heaven

Excellent branding.
Wow. Congrats on this beauty!
Awesome Video, Reminded me of the good ole days. Beautiful Synth as well.
Looks great!
Preordered one yesterday! Been waiting for something like this.
Just sooooooooooo amazing.
I'm in love.
Nice video & nice to meet you at the superbooth :)
Well Played Pittsburgh!
Amazing stuff man
well done - what a beast!
Really interesting system here 👀👀
Pure awesomeness ❤👍
are the birds sounds made with Voltagelab 2 ? they sound so realistic
(Insert clip of Richard Hendricks inventing "middle out" compression in Silicon Valley)

Turn the Dynamics knob full left to stop the bleed. The dynamics knob acts as a pass through
I need an “Analog is Important.” bumper sticker.
This is amazing. I need to start putting some money aside for this!
love that you create this! still in US? :)
Still in Pittsburgh
@@pittsburghmodular Love it!

Will the sequencer module be available separately?
Sorry, no
@@pittsburghmodularah well.
Ohhhhh.... I want it.
Can’t…comment…ordering…

Drums were made on it. Everything was multitracked in Ableton.
What program do you use to display the waveforms? Thanks
I film a cheap oscilloscope with a camera
I want one for my next album! Will you accept a kidney? Or a lung, I'm sure I can survive with one.
No organs please
Looks great! Alas, if only...
Wow 🤯 next level!
And this is the same price as an apartment currently
Priced appropriately imo (not the apartment).
“It’s easier and more fun than you think”
Had I retired five months later than I did this might have been my big purchase. Fortunately, I do not regret my Syntrx II…
Syntax is a great instrument
In a parallel universe where it is mandatory for kids to attend synth school - these are the videos shown in class.
“For Your Health!”
🎉❤🙏
Wow
Edit: Never mind, found a video. The vids are cool and all but when can we expect a proper sound demo of the machine by itself?
I will be making a video that covers each section in detail over the coming weeks.
@@pittsburghmodular Right on, it's a nice machine.
l wish l had money for it! :O
I love synths, but hate synth promo videos.
I can recommend another RUclips genre to watch if you’d like.
@@pittsburghmodular Cute. Not as good as the comms for Wendy’s but, cute.
One of worst product videos I have ever watched
Ouch
I think it is very cool
Because? Was pretty informative imo.
Yeah, having crystal clear visual representations of the main points of the new system is a real drag.... *eyeroll
Klingt nach einem spannenden Konzept
Looks and sound great!
